I am an administrator but just supportive, I don't do nothing about design nor html...
When the forum was working I helped Admin,
I haven't talk to him because our time and our schedule has been tight for both...
But the last think he told me was that he'll make a new forum delete the older one...

Hi, Walter! Everyone who want's to join fatal again will have to create a new account though, right? Or will the admin somehow transfer all the old ones to the new? Not a good idea in that case... Since about 10% (exaggerated) of the accounts are by "you know who". :P

I'm looking forward to the new forum though. Hopefully the security will be better this time. <_<

He does when he runs a website. He has the responsiblity of making sure it is running and working for it's users. If he has no obligation to the people on his site then he should not be operating one.

If a site was for his enjoyment he needs a myspace - not a fan-based website that was a large part of a band's community. Operating a website for somthing like that is not a random thing you do without any back thought. He had a team of people who worked on the site and ran a forum and other contests with it. That is somthing he could do at least. If he dosen't have time for his site that is fine. Then close it. But don't announce that it's coming back "soon" when it's been months and it's an error that can be easily corrected in under 20 minutes. The only thing needed to be fixed on it is a removal of IP bans and the re-ordering of the topics. I don't see the dificulties that are in that task.

If you have a life outside of the internet that conflicts that much with running a website. Do not run a website or do not promise things to happen quickly. I'm not upset that he has a life - I'm upset because he didn't even run the forum properly when it WAS working. And now that it's all gone he won't even take charge to set it back up properly. I do not see what we have to be gratefull for. A forum that dosen't work?
