I accidentally deleted my sound card driver and now I can't find a new one. Does someone know where I could get msi-7253 driver for free?

On the first look I don't believe you need an msi-7253 driver. If you own a mainboard of MSI with the name MS-7253-010 or K9VGM-V or K8M890 and you have an onboard 7.1 audio chip, then it's a Realtek ALC883, which you need. A download link for this driver is here.

Actually that board uses Realtek ALC883 driver. Try this.

I feel like I should know this I downloaded videos from Youtube in high quality (.mp4) - they are 5 parts of a tv-show each being around 10 minutes long. I would like to combine them into one video, but I don't know which program to use. Windows Movie Maker doesn't seem to recognize that file type. Does anyone know of a software I can use for this? Preferably free (I can use a trial too as long as it doesn't have restrictions on how long the video can be) without any ugly watermarks. Seems almost like it's too much to ask for

Monika, you can download QuickTime PRO. I think you can join mp4 files in one, in this program, but I'm not sure

I have two PC laptops and I have started writing my assignments with word XP (.doc-files), but on my new notebook there is only the new word-version (.docx-files) installed and I cannot exchange my files anymore because the old one cannot read the new documents and I am used to the older version.

I couldn't find an XP Word version to download on the internet - can anyone help me, please?

You would save more than just my butt. Thanks!

little_polar_bear, I'm a bit confused because I haven't had my coffee yet, so excuse me if I got your question wrong But on the newer version of Word, you can save your files to work on the old version. I'm not sure if we have the same versions, but in Word 2007 you click Save as -> Word 97-2003 Document.

Hope it works

Edit: Buuuuut, if you still want the new version, torrents are the way to go I'm not sure if you're familiar with torrents, though? (Attn! I am not asking people to break the law - do it at your own risk )

If QueenBee's answer doesn't help, you could see if Open Office can help you out.
