I'm still on 56K. It dial-up so it's really fucking slow.
I've got broadband access at work but I don't know the ins-and-outs of it cos I was off the day we got it installed. It's not that great either cos our computers in the office are all ancient and keep crashing cos they can't handle half of our software.

At the moment, we have ADSL ( 768k download, 256k upload ), but our ISP won't be renewing their contract with the High-speed provider, so beginning 1 January, we're back to 56k dial-up. *sigh*

512/128 - could be better, and could be a lot worse.
I could be using a 1m line or faster for the same amount of money, but if it went down I would be fcuked supportwise. So I'm sticking to the current one for a while longer. |

i'm still on 64k
 that's pretty much sufficient for surfing  and when i want to d/l something large (like HL2 (3,9gb) the other day) i go to my uni and get anything in no time i got 2,5MB/sec using dc++  and i got all tATu files from rachel's site in about few hours... (600kB/sec) so...i'm ok with my 64k for now

haha I beat you all. At school I have a 54Mb/s wireless connection and at work a DSL/network that's about 2Mb/s and I can hack into a local wireless network that runs at about 3Mb/s.

True wireless is ridiculously fast, but only if the signal is strong and I can't use MSN or AOL with it because they're both to stupid to figure out that I'm connected via wireless and not a land line.

There's a program that handles all of those together ( MSN, AOL, Yahoo messenger etc. ) and understands wireless.
I'll tell you next time cause my friend who's on wireless and runs it just went off the internet. |
