I saw that movie, AIA, jsut the other day on HBO and I agree it was good! Its nice that you show so m uch depth out of all your characters and Yulia really is a good friend.

I am *really* glad that Yulia and Jayja feel comfortable enough to be able to share things like that. I could definitely see how Lena could misinterpret things and be a little jealous though, but knowing that wonderful Lena, I'm sure she knows she has nothing to worry about. And LOL@Lena. I would have absolutely *died* if I was here and that happened to me. I would have made up some big story...*anything* but admit to what was really happening. LOL That was really sweet though what was said between them. I'll leave it at that. Once again, *wonderful* update Parrish!

Lena is probably going to wonder though, if she ever discovers that Yulia is telling things to Jayja that she doesn't tell her.

I mean, during all those years when Yulia was missing, Lena never made another close friend.
Yulia has been back for a short period of time and she already has another very close friend.

That's bound to bring questions in Lena's head. Does Yulia really need her as much as she thought? Does Yulia trust Jayja more than her since she's telling her things she's afraid to tell Lena. Did she really choose to not make other close friends or is it just because people don't wanna be friends with her?

Just my opinion.

Haku? You almost forgot to post about *that* chapter? I'm so stunned! But not as stunned as you were during part of the "pregnancy thread".

I'm really glad that you all liked chapter 29. As I was telling someone that I was chatting with yesterday, I saw it as a challenge. It's a subject that rarely gets brought up at all in movies, tv, etc. And if it is, it's usually a guy and it's made into a joke.

I felt that if I did this chapter right, the reader's first reaction would be, "Oh my god! Poor Lena!" Then, as the person continued reading, they might let out a big ol' "Awwwww"

From what you all have said, I pulled it off.

And then make him puke them back up and shove them down again and again and...oh wait, am I getting too carried away? I would *so* kick the living crap out of him if I *ever* saw him. I'd do the whole J-Lo thing with "Enough"----make it look like self defense. Geeze would I ever do that if I were Yulia. I have to say, a huge kudos to Yulia's mom. She is trying so incredibly hard and I'm glad that she is understanding Yulia a lot more since it makes it easier on both of them. And as always, thank goodness for Lena and her understanding ways. I still say I wish I could meet someone like that.

Poor, poor Yulia. I knew that sentence would haunt her.

"I promise I will *never* hurt you, Yulia." Lena said, feeling tears come to her eyes. Mourning the innocence that had been viciously slain within Yulia when she had been so young.

That's really beautiful, in a dramatic way of course. I felt tears too.

Lena is simply wonderful.

As for the rest of the chapter, well, i think i'll have to read it again. My mind became a bit blurry when i read it the first time.

i am definatley lovin both lena and yuli's realationship as well as volk and jayja's friendship. its nice to see such understanding, caring and loving ppl in yulia's world. i'm sure it really helps w/ her recovery.
