I was at school, wanting to shoot myself in the head, because it's now midterm week.

And it's still freezing up here. Well, less so than before. But subzero Celsius still. Which of course, to me, feels like friggin' spring. *Laughs!*

I'm back... barely.

Odd climates we differing people have - you guys are freezing, while SA has been boiling just below 40 degrees Celsius for two bloody weeks now!

OK, what is "midterm week"? I ccan't remember our school ever using that specific term/phrase

PS: DON'T SHOOT!

I have no weapon to shoot myself with. Bleh.

Midterm week would be the week where we have midterm exam. And I thought it was over. BUT IT ISN'T. Education hates me.

And hi! I'm still freezing. I want to be able to feel my feet again.

Come to SA! You could crash at my place for a week or two - y'know, go to beaches, bust up some parties, get some heat? Feel your feet?

Sounds tempting. Too bad I'm too broke to afford any sort of trip anywhere. Bleh.

Well... I could help you out with the funding perhaps? I have some resources at my disposal, if you really want to come over.

Apart from that: How you been?

Well, I'd love to go travelling. Too bad I have school. And upcoming work. And a soccer tournament down south to fund for. And more school. And school. (I want to stab myself in the eye.)

Other than that: I'm not bad. ^_^ It's my week off next week. In which I will be catching up to all my schoolwork. Yay.

Well, pack all your work in a bag and come here! Not freezing your butt off does help your concentration, you know...

Anyway, it would give me an excuse to take you to the beach and get a bit of a tan myself - been working out, but without the tan, it just looks kinda weird...

If you wear a Speedo, I will physically hurt you. Lol.

But, my work starts in the summer, so it'll be hot by then. For now, I have schoooooool. Which I have a love/hate relationship with. *Laughs.*

Nononono - straight guys don't wear Speedo's, never mind what. Boardshorts - and only boardshorts - are worn, nothing else.

Memory serving, Canadian summers are still damn cold, right? By SA standards, at least... Our summers peak above 40 deg. Celsius, and our winters rarely go below 12 deg. Clesius. - we SA folk are pretty warm-blooded, if y'know what I mean *nudge nudge wink wink*
Now, about that beach thing....

Jan, we're goofing off generally because we've settled this topic and have decided to make this a chat thread. Because Silenced Sonix is too lazy to go to the IRC channel. Lol!! (I kid, I kid. But really.)

And we Canadians are tough, so 16 Celsius is mildly warm, and 25 Celsius is joyfully hot. Lol! We're in shorts and a T-shirt at 15 Celsius. :P

WHAT?! Shorts and T-shirts in 15 degs?! I'm wrapped up in an army parka at those temps! And long jeans! And set of really big boots! I absolutely HATE the cold! Probably because I was born in summer, though...

Yeah, this is our chat thread, so we're going to be using (and abusing) it for some time still. At least untill Echoed and I run out of things to say to each other... hope that doesn't happen, though....

Why not go into a chat room?
We have one, you know! And it takes even less time...
