Been singing for years, she knows how to act on stage, how to sing in order not to damage the vocal, and other tricks that are actually taught. And I guess this is what the young singers want to learn. Talent and vocal capability cannot be taught.

I think she has enough knowledge and experience that she has the capability to sound good singing at a moment, even if it's not all the time.
Then again, there is a difference between "studying singing for years" and simply "singing for years". But she has to have picked up some things.

Granted, we all know her voice isn't this super big diva voice, and perhaps she's never trained herself to sing like that. I would like to hear how she'd sound if she could open up her voice more and not just use her pretty head voice all the time.

The fact that she has been singing for years is once again, irrelevant. What does that have to do with ability? I would not say Lena Katina is an accomplished vocalist by any means, especially quality. I also don't think that the complete absence of motion on stage is considered knowing how to act on stage. That's called being bland. And vocal capability can certainly be taught. Have you ever taken a voice lesson or worked with a vocal coach?

So, to update those who are not following the lack of updates related to all things Lena in the world of t.A.T.u., here it the latest information.

Lena's most recent video blog (which I'm not taking the time to link to) consisted of her playing with a dog and no information at all about the project. By "no information" I mean that the project wasn't even referenced in the "update".


She recently met with fans, and my source has also told me that Boris has fired the manager that was hired to work with the project as a result of creative differences. Go figure. So once again, Boris is in charge of all and as usual nothing is moving as planned.

Lena gave no information about the album, said she doesn't know when anything will be released and that she really cannot answer any questions about the project. Kind of defeats the purpose of a meeting with fans but then again, that's just my opinion.

Also, Lena would like everyone to know that it hurts her feelings when people speak badly of Boris.

Thanks Tim for the update. Eh what? Update? No, we had that information already, several times since the start of Lena's project, I think. Boris remembers me the movie "Groundhog Day". Every morning begins the same fucked up day again, the same incidents, the same movements.
