I have respect for people who do believe there's more to this life than just being born and then dying or whatever. But im not one to jump in the confessional and start spouting out my penance. |

I made up my own belief system. It's very complicated though... But I don't think I'd be where I am if I wasn't building that instead of just believing in a God like everybody else.
Maintaining a belief system that tries it's best to be as consistent as possible may be hard but it sure is worth it and makes a lot more sense than all the religions. Also being able to update my beliefs according to my experiences providing all the consistency-checking rules are followed is a better than following a book that was written thousands of years ago. These also extend to not only my experiences but others as well, moves and song lyrics can also trigger core updates... I could go on forever, after that, it gets complicated! |

I don't believe in God, but people can believe in what they want if it makes them happier.

Good question!
I'm new here, but I'll go ahead and take a shot at this. I like learning about different religions, and then taking the parts I like best and using it. This, of course, makes some people mad---they think either you should believe *exactly* as they do, or you shouldn't believe in any of it. How boring! I believe that we need to focus more on the ways we are alike, instead of how we are different. I look for things that are spiritual, rather than religious. To some, that may sound confusing. To me, spiritual are things like how we feel looking out at the ocean or the night sky. Religious is more like blindly following church laws simply because the laws have been in place for a long time. Parrish |

I have nothing against people who believe in god. All my friends believe in god, I have never met any atheists. I think its comforting(?) to believe in SOMETHING because you do feel alot more safe. I used to believe in god and everytime I was nervous or afraid I said "God wont make it happen" or "God will save me"

Hmmmm....by any chance do you mean athiests rather than anarchist? Athiest means someone who doesn't believe in God, and anarchist means someone who is against government. Just wondering, because otherwise I'm a little confused. Not that being confused is all that odd for me.

I was brought up as a Christian
and yes I do believe in God (don't get me wrong I'm no happy clappy), I may not believe in everything that the church or bible says, but I believe He is out there looking down at us, taking care of it all.

I believe in Lord and Lady
I was brought up as atheist but now I'm seeking a religion. Funny that when you bring up witchcraft most ignorant people are on about being evil or killing babies. Heehee thanks a lot Hollywood crap. Not.

I know what you mean
I worked with a girl that was a witch, and she caught a lot of crap from people about it. This was when I worked at a bookstore (I was her supervisor). So, I put her in charge of the "New Age" section, which also had our witchcraft books.
She handled the harassment very well. She certainly showed herself to be more mature than the jerks that were giving her problems, to say the least. Parrish |

All beliefs is lies. It's change reality to illusions.
I believe in doubt. Love and other pretty things is not for believing, it's for wanting it (and getting it ) |

just a question
do athiests believe in no god because they cannot see it (deity/god/gods) or is it something deeper ? i am agnostic meaning that i do believe in God, but not a certain religion. I believe that I truely cannot follow a texts rule book, but i know to do good, and be happy for what i have
