As for Mylene not being a particularly good writer, I wouldn't put my finger on it since I don't speak French; she didn't go into advanced education - as far as I know - and therefore her lyrics are good and challenging as far as popular music goes

No, it's okay to delete, you have the righ to do so. I was just wonderring.
It was not my point to disgrace Farmer in any way by saying that she apparently dosen't have any exceptional talents of writing her lyrics. It's about the structure of the lyrics where you can easily find the whole meaning in one phrase and the rest is just a sort of "chewing around" on the main idea. Of course it's okay for a pop-music or any music for that matter. It would do for an opera too, LOL!
