Echo, I had no idea they were lesbians either. I just thought they attracted a large lesbian fanbase. Well now I know why.
Anyhoo, I heard of them way before Tatu, so I wouldn't really say that they are replicating Tatu's appeal.
If they do break into the States it would most probably be because Tatu opened up the markets for overt lesbian sex appeal.
