Think the main problem with translations is that few get hurt if a translation is posted at some other forum and credits are still given. While with videos and picture hosting the trouble is mainly that bandwidth is used aswell. While if the video is hosted at another host and credits remain the trouble is again smaller..
I'm sure this is mainly the viewpoint when looking outside and in..
I'm not saying translators doens't have the right to want to keep things inside one forum, I'm just basically saying that I don't understand the wish to do so at all
