No. IMO they're doing nothing wrong. But looking at it from THEIR point of view (that sacred righteous stance about works having their owners etc...), they are doing something wrong. I was just saying that when you translate something from a mag or a TV show and post it for a bunch of fans to see you're doing no harm to the magazine or TV broadcaster. Nor are the fans doing anything wrong by pasting the translations to other fan related websites. The question of being recognized for the translations is another question entirely. Yes, moraly a person who takes something that was translated by someone else should specifically give credits for the translation to the original translator. BUT. This is just a moral duty. There's also a question here of WHY the translator is doing it in the first place. For the good of all fellow-fans or for his/her own recognition.
