bush is the only president who got into the executive office by a
supreme court ruling. haku - bush is practically homophobic. kerry's policies on gay marriage is that he opposes it but he believes in providing benefits for partners with civil unions. that's his way to rally the moderates, and most of america opposes marriage. there's no use in mocking political strategy, is there? and besides bush and kerry differ in many ways, i would not say they are conservative. kerry is
pro-choice and no half assed republican is pro choice. kerry also supports welfare, education for the underprivileged, and medicaid. does bush? ummmm no. the day bush made that speech about supporting medicaid, the next day he cut medicaid spending by 1.5 billion. or was it trillion? the numbers get fuzzy after a million.
so much for being a political science major in such a fucking politically active school. all of you who can get a chance to visit, please do. you don't know what you're missing.
