All this began with a simple divorce, the children were put in care of the mother, despite the known psychic lability of her.The mother didn't cope with the divorce, got psychotic, had halluzinations and was urgently recommended a clinical therapy. This was 2001. She refused, isolated herself and the girls from the surroundings. Neighbours brought numerous actions against the mother, but the authorities only tried to achieve concessions of her willingly. She feigned cooperation, but never let authorities into the house.
The cynical fact is, that the authorities began to act not because of the horrible circumstances of the children. Neighbours threatened the authorities with a suit of liability because of a supposed mal-treatment of the dog, who jumped regularly against the windows.and a veterinaire began to investigate. He found the house a metre high in garbage. This time the authorities acted.
The father of the children is a judge, the mother a lawyer and obviously member of the nobility (some side-chain of the Habsburg family). The authorities didn't want to get troubles with the law themselves, so they played the ball from one department to the other. Now they assert, they have all done their best, the problem is the system, the law, the cleverness of the mother, whatever...blahblahblah.
The two younger girls will need a long therapy, the youngest having the lowest damage. The oldest daughter, however is diagnosed an irreparable psycho-asocial behaviour.
