I'm very disappointed with our pick. Plan B is such a mediocre song. A ballad that switches to an up-tempo disco song... come on... that's been done before by Donna Summer. With much more pleasurable results. Plus those synth seemed to travel to our time straight from the 1982, due to a disturbance in the space/time continuoum.

I think the second choice Mandoline (which actually won the telephone poll, but then lost since the jury of so called "experts" gave it null points), would have had much better chances to excel at Eurovision. It's uptempo, catchy, tacky... all the ingredients you need for a successful entry. Plus it reminds me somewhat of Ruslana Lyzhicko's equally tacky Wild Dances, which actually won in 2004.

But to be honest non of these two are really worth mentioning if you judge them according to non-Eurovision standards - as run-of-the-mil pop songs. They're both pretty terrible in that respect. Chosing the one to like better is like asking whether it'd be better to die of rabbies or hepatitis C.

Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
