I think the point that Rachel is trying to make is that a group of people like Blacks (I don't even know if I'm 'allowed' to refer to them as that anymore!
) who are so hung up on all the discrimination they've faced over the years should be a bit more tolerant of others. How can a black man use the insult "faggot" so freely and then get outraged if he's called a "nigger"? That is the very definaition of a double-standard. If discrimination against black people is wrong, then discrimination against
everyone is wrong.
I don't think anyone here is suggesting that Blacks "invented" homophobia.
