About the name...U are right! Both Middle Eastern and Persians use the same names/similar. It origionalted in Ancient Persia first, then was widely used around the middle eastern area. Since Arabic and Farsi have their similarities, so does the meanings of the names

I think the name of the band was The Hectics, named after Freddie's style of piano playing... but I guess your uncle would know a little more about that
