I don't consider this 'making up' a word (or all modern Latin-Greek words are made up), it's a perfectly acceptable adjectival declension based on commonly accepted Greek elements used in a correct fashion, i could have also used 'androphobic' which may have been more suitable.
And i actually had not even read your
