... and all the memories it brought .....
a drawing i did my last year in uni, as part of analytical process for one of my projects (the site for which was an existing open mine pit, on the bottom of which
there is a lake ). the mine as it is left now is one 'big eye', looking at the sky and reflecting it. with a lot of tunnels, and paths, and layers, layers of information, layers of miners cuts.....
mining is just such an interesting process, and even more interesting is how the landscape changes once mining occurs..... Anyways, this drawing is by no means finished, but maybe i can work on it some more
p.s. here is one esp. for NATH, just found it among the project files - the mine site was in The Black Hills is South Dakota, and when we went to visit, it was the first time i saw ELK
