Amikana--I don't *know* that places like that exist, but it wouldn't surprise me. I certainly *hope* that it hasn't gone on to that degree (well, I hope that it hasn't gone on at all, for that matter). Needless to say, I came up with *that* idea when I was feeling a little less than cheery about human nature.

It's funny how sometimes a secondary character will suddenly start pushing closer to the surface. I've got plans for Guerra's character anyway, but I didn't have any idea of what her background was. Until last night, and I started writing.
And I'm with you, Riviera. I think I'd have been at the door, trying not to get sick!
