Your vocals sound boring. Singing is not talking on different notes. If you understand this statement then you can begin with professional work. Probably it's waste of both our time, but I'll give you some suggestions:
1. Develop the character of your voices. Every voice has some uniqueness. You have to recognize it and develop it further. It doesn't help to just edit the vocals, if the basic material is crap you won't get out anything satisfying. 2. Before you even think of editing, try to get out the best of your vocals in the recording process. No matter how much you want to alienate them, you first need a basic material with a clear character, a mood suiting to the lyrics and a certain emotional quality. In fact, you can't have enough of that. 3. Don't overdo vocal editing. Most of the time less is better than more. Your almost criminal vocoding practically destroyed the songs. The editing should support the voice, enhance it and intensify it's character. It's absolutely bad practice to dehumanize the voice. From the moment you lose the human character with it's mood and emotions there won't be many people interested in the singing and the lyrics - a robot is talking to them, so what's the point? 4. Study Reflex' first studio album Vstrechaj Novyj Den'. Here Vyacheslav Tyurin teaches you how to use vocal editing both effectively and creatively. There is no unedited vocal note in the whole album, so a lot of stuff to shuffle together (Don't even know if there is a western analogue to this 'didactic' masterpiece). |
interesting :)
whats name the all songs! |
well i have to say i like a bit of auto tune in songs but i tell you this is all auto tune and vocoders lol.
|
Blakeich you are know the group!?
|
I like it. :D
|
I really like it! You have a great project in your hands guys! I really liked the sound of the songs! But perhaps you should let your voices a little more natural, tried to not include so many effects!
I hope to hear more songs soon! sorry my bad english :) |
The music is quite interesting, complex, and wonderful at points, but the voices are bland, somewhat understandable, and remind me of japanese electro bands..... However, I wish you the best, and am quite positive you will grow as an artist!! :)
