I've spent ages on this thread if you don't answer I'll cry !
Anybody kind enough as to give me an advice about Christmas present for a little girl (11-12 y.o.) :ithink:…?………I have unexpected guests for Christmas and really don’t know what kids of this age like. I really couldn’t say more about her . She might be a little princess with girlish pinky-fluffy things , or may be tomboyish sporty one ..or one of those adorable creeps who crawled the streets in baggy black clothes and black eyeliner….who knows…..
I was staring today at the Hello Kitty stuff . Do girls of this age like that?…What you reckon ? Thank you :) |
Hello Kitty merchandise are for little girls... right?
|
I don't really know , zelda05:confused: ........some of the stuff could be ....handbags , purse ...
|
I am not quite familiar with Hello Kitty merchandise. I assumed HK merchandise targeted girls of the age group you have mentioned. Well one of my co-worker bought ipod-IZ for her grandchild.
|
I see......thank you , zelda05
I still have plenty of time till Sunday |
I don't think I've been helpful. In fact, I am probably the last person who should give gift advices :D But I am sure the other members might have some ideas. Beside, you do have plenty of time to decide.

You don't know the girl at all? May be ask to her parents? Hello Kitty is the "cat" isn't it?
Think it would have been a treasure for kiddies of ...hum.....sorry....*caughing...you have to say it...courage Nath...*....hum....our generation.....o_O.....but the new kiddies.......not so sure....think she you would prefer a key - reader of mp3, a small one not too much expensive....the only problem is to know if she doesn't have one already.... But you have to check with her social level or if she is from town or country....just you know such details... Edit: may be you can try : an orange, with a doll made with corn ears (the full corn body befoe you transform it in pop corns..don't know the real name...) ....it had had success in one past time ...:heh: and it 's good to appreciate the true value of the gestures.....DA! Marina...follow my advice and I'm sure your Christmas will be full of AMBIANCE!!!!yeah!!!:10x: |

Still, mp3 is an option , thank you , nath. She is coming over from some place not too far away from Toronto, Canada ...Oh well , why children don't like to read these days???:D yes , nath , that's a cat |
Or a watch? yes she might have the mp3 reader.

My suggestion is to call the parents and to ask if you don't want to have a nervous breakdown before Christmas!:newyear:

ahem, buy her a PSP :D wait , let me ask my bitch of a colleague what she'd buy her. Actually, I'm not gonna ask her. Cause I'm having not a very good day today and I might even add why is she such a bitch and so standoffish. Oh wait I'd ask Mike, the gay colleague if he has made any plans for his marriage ( or social bonding or whatever they call it ) But I won't ok, I got the rest of replies: my little pony :p a karaoke set a makeup set inexpensive jewelry cuddly toys |
*thinks* when i was 11, what did i play with?
