::Mind Reader:: -- Amazing, it actually works!!

Mind reader:

http://www.ak47.ru/mindreader.htm

How to use:

1). Think of a two digit number. (e.g. 54)

2). Subtract the digits that compose this number from it. (e.g. 54 - 5 - 4 = 45)

3). Find the number in the table below, and picture the symbol near it in your mind.

4).Click on the BOX, and the symbol will appear in it!!

It works!! Amazing!!

Well...

It's a Russian site - it's a well-known fact that the Soviets ( KGB, to be specific) experiment with "extra-sensory perception" during the Cold War. They also happened to achieve remarkable results, pinpointing the locations of traitors and defectors with uncanny accuracy. It is an area that has always held great potential...

Silenced Sonix 24-12-2002 22:59

Psi

HOLY CRAP! IT'S PRETTY F**KING ACCURATE!

Silenced Sonix 24-12-2002 23:07

Hold on - -

No...

A) The table at the bottom changes after each test
B) Most symbols appear at multiple positions

A pattern... a very simple pattern - after all, computers can read your mind without one of their own, can they?

Silenced Sonix 24-12-2002 23:13

The symbol in the box is *always* the same as that of 9 and its multiples...

No mind reading - just a little pattern...

(next time please edit your posts instead of making new ones)

Yes sir!
Sorry sir!
Do you want a martini with that too, sir?

Synthetic 25-12-2002 06:03

I already have one :coctail:

Eminem 25-12-2002 21:51

That is sooooo dope. Can anyone tell me how it works, just in a modern english language.

Kate 25-12-2002 21:56

It's a complicated something, anyway, why don't you enjoy it?

I'll ask my dad, he's a Doctor of Mathematics, he'll be sure to explain this thing, whatever it is, :)

Eminem 25-12-2002 22:06

Man, katbeidar, you deserve respect for finding it. That is so dope.
I showed it to my dad, and my mom, even to my lil brother. The "magic" box showed their letters right.
I-t i-s s-o-o-o-o-o-o c-o-o-l...
I'm enjoyin' it. I just really want to know how it works.

Jan 25-12-2002 22:38

It is fairly simple:
Try thinking not one, but 3 numbers:
Example: 17, 25, 86.
17-1-7 = 9
25-2-5= 18
86-8-6= 72

Look: all three numbers (9;18;72)HAVE THE SAME PICTURE NEXT TO THEM! That's the picture you'll see .
They simply "cover" all possible combinations, and the rest of the pictures are there to distract your attention.
That is why they change pictures every time- otherwise it will be easier to spot.
Sorry, if I took away the fun :(

goku 25-12-2002 22:44

hahaha... pattern or no pattern this is fun to do when you are bored...

Kate 25-12-2002 22:52

It's interesting, that when you subtract the composing numbers from a two digit number, the result is always devidable by 9!! Interesting!

Eminem 25-12-2002 22:59

Jan, buddy, you're so wrong. You can take any number. Take 65 for instance.
68-6-8=54
54="I"
Now imagine letter "I" in the box.
You click on it, and what do you see? Letter "I".
Think of another number. Subtract. And you'll see a different letter.
That is so magic.

Kate 25-12-2002 23:07

The thing is, whatever number you think at that time, you'll always get "I" next to the result, but only on that table, I think...

I am trying to slove the mystery....

Kate 25-12-2002 23:11

I solved it:

No metter which two digital number you choose, and subtract the numbers it is composed of, you'll get a number that can be devided by 9.

On the table, 81, 72, 63, 54, 45, 36, 27, 18, and 9, have the same symbols, so, since they are the only possibilies, you'll always have your "mind read"!! :D

Kate 25-12-2002 23:13

Check me!

Click on the boz, and you'll get the symbol near 81, or 72, or any other number that can be devided by 9. :))

Eminem 25-12-2002 23:34

The trick is...

Look at #s 9, 18, 27, 36, etc. letter near them is the same.
Look what the letter near #9 is. Say it's "I".
Now in the "magic" box there will be letter "I"

Restart.

Now look at a letter near #9. It's different. Say it's "J".
So in the "magic" box it will be letter "J"

Who's the man?
:D --> Kid right here <---:D

Flid Merchant 29-12-2002 04:12

It's pretty obvious - all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol. Still pretty cool though, and great to show to someone who's not too good at maths.
