I can't help but totally love her album. Yeah, she is a snotty kid, but she writes some damn good songs!! I love EVERY SINGLE song on the album, and it is wierd, cuz usually an albums has like ONE good song and the rest is crap. But she is good. Real good. Just my type of girl ..actually first song I like of her is "I'm With You" .. which I heard constantly in radio .. and then some how that song meant a lot to me too .. and the video clip is just 'everything' ..... then I downloaded one of radio interviews .. she sounded so tired .. and the DJ was so rude, and making fun of her I wish I knew what his problem is .. but still she answered their questions everyway she could .. then I know I like this girl very much .. I like her hair she dyed it dark in the inside .. New album .. just excellent ... and those live exclusive with MTV .. just proved she is what she is .. its nice to listen to a young girl singing and playing guitar like that ... The song "My Happy Ending" .. I like it very much because the lyric of the song really twisted from the title of the song .. I think its something different .. most of new songs .. denial, I don't see anything wrong either. Everyone looks better with make-up. Avril may not exactly be "Miss Universe" material, but she is alright. Plus, I don't mind how she looks, she has great songs, and that's all that matters.

denial, thanks for the information. And I totally understand how bad Avril must feel about media manipulating her actions all the time... :( But that comes in the same package as fame. Nothin' we or she can do about it. Nor can the media people, they want to eat as well...

Yeah, I guess she fought back - but things just got worst. I guess she learned a lot from all these. Anyway, her live version are much nicer than her album. Thanks for the link again Kate. I hope she release Live acaustic version album too. Something I want to put in the car.

I know this is an Avril love-in but lemme just say my piece and fuck off:
Avril co-writes her songs. She doesn't write them by herself. She handles the lyrics while other musicians - some, talented people like Ben Moody, to name one example - write the music for her. And, let's face it, Avril's lyrics are shite! Allow me to elaborate..........*clears throat* "Don't think that your charms and the fact that your arm is now around my neck, will get you in my pants, I'll have to kick your ass and make you never forget." Lyrical genius? I think not. Don't get me wrong. Avril is ok when compared to evil corporate dick-sucking pieces of pop shit mascarading as "punk" such as Busted and McFly. But she really is no better than Good Charlotte in terms of credibility. And you know that's not a good thing. BTW - before you all kill me - I do own Avril's debut album and I thinks it's............ok. I just wouldn't let other people catch me listening to it. *runs and hides from the angry mob of Avril fans.......* |
