I bought a mixed Russian CD a few years ago and there was a nice song called "Ni Uxodi" by a man/woman duo called "Ya." I couldn't find any info on them, and now I am thinking that maybe this could be the group "Я:R." Only one of the song links above works so I can't really tell from the voices. Could anyone listen to the "Ni Uxodi" song and verify that this is the same group please? Spasibo!

YA YA: The opening.
Here it is time to inform you of our debut album. Now we're at our finishing stages of writing. 11 of our favorite songs will most likely be entered onto the album. We're not such which yet :) there is still the question on what to call it. But working is quite pleasant for us and approaches - "Opening" - It would be desirable, that each some became a pleasant opening for you.
Stylistically it wouldn't be desirable to limit oneself to any frameworks, but at the present time the album can be carried as electronic music with impregnations and a bit techno. Special sounding gives it an organic combination of electronics and live tools. The mood of the album is moderately depressive (Even aggressive in places), But also in it there's enough positive.

If everything ends satisfactorily, and it's possible to tell in time, the album that took 5 years to make, Was reflected and with a variety of moods inherent in it and styles.

A new version of the track "Beg no krugu" (Run in a circle) was added. It sound is so much better. And also coming onto the site, it's possible to hear a small slice of our new song "Skuchayu" (I miss you)

Here's what we'd like to tell you about our first album. The recording is being finished now. Most probably, it will include our 11 favorite songs. Though, we haven't yet decided which ones. :) The next point to decide finally is the title, but we actually like the working title "Otkrytiya/The Discoveries" and it really suits us. It would be great if each song from the album became your real personal discovery. Concerning the album style, we'd not put ourselves into any borders. Now we could call it electronic music with the elements of ambient, new age, trip hop and techno… It's got the unique sound due to harmonious combination of electronics and live instrumentals. The album's got moderately depressive mood (partly even aggressive), which doesn't exclude considerably positive moments as well. Per forma and per se. If we finish the album in time, it will be 5 years that we have been working it out, which surely has got the reflection in its stylistic and mood variety.
