Blimey! I'm not really interested in Sergei Lazarev but i just listened to "Earth Song" as I wondered if it was a Michael Jackson cover, and it is! :eek: :eek: :eek:

It's the only Micheal Jackson song I like!

The song doesn't sound much different, just Sergei's voice isn't high pitch and this version is a bit more acoustic than electronic (hearing the drums etc.)

EDIT: The rest of this album sounds pretty gay :gigi:

I played the "Earth Song" cover to my friend Bam who is a big MJ fan yesterday.

He was expecting something awful and kept on saying "no one should even attempt a MJ song!" but he actually liked it, which is really something because it takes a lot to please him!

I just wonder though how good he'd be at singing this live? :dknow: I have no idea coz I never really watched any Smash stuff.

well can't tell about Earth Song, but from the live Smash!! songs I've heard online he normally hits the right tones. So there is a fair chance it would still be good.
