Stressed? - Get more free time!
 
Owe Wikstroem, a professor from Sweden at Uppsala University gives you a few hints how to destress and get more free time:

1. Avoid getting interested in everything.
2. You don't need to be ready with everything.
3. Switch off your phone from time to time.
4. Everything doesn't need to go fast.
5. Shut down your computer.
6. Take a walk in the sun or in the rain.
7. Appreciate common tings.
8. Take your time to learn the art of just being.
9. You have the right not to be useful and productive all the time.
10. Treat yourself with a few hours of doing nothing or something for yourself.

So, are you stressed? Then relax please and enjoy your time on tatysite! :rose:

- I agree and I am not.
3. Switch off your phone from time to time.
- Have done it many times.
4. Everything doesn't need to go fast.
- In my case problem is that things should go faster than they
do now.
5. Shut down your computer.
- No problem.
6. Take a walk in the sun or in the rain.
- I do that almost every day.
7. Appreciate common tings.
- I do.
8. Take your time to learn the art of just being.
- Not so easy.
9. You have the right not to be useful and productive all the time.
- I know and I`m not.
10. Treat yourself with a few hours of doing nothing or
something for yourself.
- I can easily spend few days doing something just for myself.

Apparently I`m not stressed at the moment... :D

well my problem is that I get interested in everything and I treat myself too often with hours of doing nothing or doing things I like rather than work. :p :D

Did you test, personnally this revolutionary method, Forre?...:confused: ...
-->... Not to FIX the problems, to have phone & computer out of "service", out of working...and to walk during hours under the Rain..(for exemple 3 hours..hehe..)....
That slackens really your nerves? :eek:

If you guarantees to me that it works and gives good results, I will try....:p

I think that sound like someone madly inlove ..and doesn't want to be disturb by the world .. so are the list given by the professor...

I have tested it back in August. Works fine for me .. :cool:
3 hours in the rain???? Well, it will shut down not only your nerves but a whole nerve system I'm afraid, unless you are not a reptile. :rolleyes: :ill:

I have some kind of walking-outside-phobia. I never leave the house except to go to school. Otherwise I stay at home. And there's nothing to discuss there :D

thanks forre :rose: interesting: it sounds like the best way to de-stress is to cut yourself away from everything/everyone and just be by yourself for a while :confused: - in my case - isn't the best idea probably :no: I go for walks and do things for myself all the time though ;) ahhh, but I'm not stressed enough, I think: spending too much time not learning anything, being bored and unproductive ... it's frustrating when you're stuck doing things that you think are pointless right now ... :ill:

russ .. I'm on your side! It was the best way .. now I'm tired of it ..and I get stressed from too much of it .. :ill: .. I need to look for some trouble now .. just to keep me feel alive ..
