I think it's a pretty kick ass song. I really like both versions but i prefer Nich'ya's.... i do enjoy how emotional Dusha sings it, but i hate when sings do that thing at the end of songs where they push the air out and it creates that sound, the cry thing... you'll hear it.

I am glad to hear Nichya sing the song. DuSHA sang it well and I like her version, but I love Nichya's a more. I like how Lena sings in the background all "floaty" like, and I agree about the "airiness."

But when I translated the lyrics on my site, I kind of think I lost the meaning, it looks rather confusing in English, must be very poetic in Russian.

Just To Add, This song will not be on their album, Nichei, which is a shame, cause it really is a good edgy song.

Why? Probably because they gave the rights to the song to Dusha, or something like that.

Umm just a question.. are they really saying "hochu" in the last line? It doesn't sound like "hochu". :ithink:

You are right Ewa, they own sing Hochu ONCE in the song [at least in Nich'ya's version].
So i have changed the lyrics accordingly to the Nich'ya version, since i'm sure we care more about their's than the Dusha person.

probably not. This song was written long before they created those ads. And the song wasn't put on the net until today.

Dusha's version, all the way man! I'm rather disappointed with Nichya's version, but that's probably because it sounds like only a demo, not a mastered version. Dusha sings it better, me thinks... And Oleg's voice really doesn't do it for me this time.

And I think the way Dusha sings/screeches at the end is sexy in that peculiar Russian way... :love:

I'm not sure which version I like more actually.. I looove the sound at the end of each line in Dusha's version.. it's so powerful, like she's screaming and begging.. I donno, her version is really good, but so is Nichya's.. hmm.

No, i stick by my liking Nich'ya.

Dusha is a very emotional singer, and i enjoy that. But i just really don't like that little exhale/cry at the end of the lines. That's a pet peeve of mine, and, i dunno, i guess it's just the chorus in me, that's a big no no. But there are things i do like of hers. But i'm mostly intrigued by the vocalizations in the Nich'ya version. I think they are really interesting.

No, but I believe they are planning on making one for "Vsyo Vreme".

Hey, the last announcement was that Lena Kiper was working on directing their next video...it is unclear whether it is "Nachinai Menia" or "Vsyo Vremja."
Also, you guys might be interested to know that BMG has expressed an interest to release Nichya internationally--they have begun playing "Nichya" in the slavic regions outside of Russia and will be debuting the single in East Europe soon. "Pain to Choose" will be remastered and released in Japan soon, as well.
Finally, Pain to Choose V.2.0 has just been finished, so all you Nichya fans stop by and check it out. We'd love to get more Nichya fans together on the forum. ;) We're working on winning the contest to become the Official Nichya Fansite, so we could use all the help we can get...thanks!
