What style of music is she launching her solo career on? I haven't checked anything yet...Hmmm, I always thought that Yulia had the more natural voice that made the difference in Tatu, Lena's voice seems more trained but more predictable also...still I'm kinda looking forward to it.

Their last album had virtually no exposure in spite of being much better than their second effort, so I don't know , I'm not holding my breath about her international career, unless she presents something dramatically different.

Wasn't impressed from what I've heard on youtube, Lena has a beautiful voice but these are not the songs to complliment her and they're not to my personal taste. Volkova was a little crude but fair ;)
I'll be waiting to her work with more anticipation, I think Volkova's work will be more Russian and energetic cause Lena's becoming too Americanised, like the Sven Martin personal project or something.
But lets wait and hear the final project when it comes out...

Was a long time ago I wrote something on this board and had an interest in Tatu. Can't say I'm too impressed either with Katina's new songs. Will keep an eye in case either Katina och Volkova comes up with something.

I know nostalgia isn’t what it used to be, but I get a warm feeling seeing them post in the same thread again, so I thank Lena’s project for that.

I'd like to thank coincidence. It's not as if her magical music brought troughs of old fans back to rejoice and sing in downtown Whoville.

As far as I'm concerned none whatsoever, apart from being someone who was posting a lot on the forum I had no other status here; and I wasn't commenting on Lena Katina's project in particular but the whole situation in general. I'm surprised there are still some people who haven't moved on from Tatu.
The project is normal and it will have a portion of older Tatu fans interested, at least she's doing something positive rather than disappearing from the scene altogether.
It depends what people's expectations are, if people were expecting the next Lady Gege or Gaga or whatever, well it's not going to happen.
