Making the "Role Playing Game": Choosing the Theme and Suggesting the Rules.
 

So, after getting eight votes from people interested in playing the game, I got Igor's permission, and here we are.

In this thread: First of all, we have to chose 5 most popular themes that YOU guys will siggest, and then in a separate thread, vote the one we'll play with. Second of all, if you have played this type of game in the past (or not), and you have a few rules/guidelines you would like to suggest, I'll very much appreciate it.

And also, I'd like you to nominate a person who will help me out with the game. (You can nominate yourself). The person will ultimately hold the right to "moderate" the game. The person will have to have a clear judgement, read every post in the game, and be able to delete a post if it's out of place or out of character or broke the rules.

Anyway, when nominating a theme, you can nominate a movie, a TV Show, or a book even.

Here are the guidlines for the theme choice:
1). Must be windely recognised. Don't nominate a book no one read, or a TV Show no one here watched!
2). Must have a story that is interesting, and easy to play on this forum. (For example, an action movie would probably not be a good idea, as the characters will need to shoot a lot and it'll be boring without the visuals. I can't think of a good example right now, but I trust your judgement.)
3). Must have at least 10 characters we can play with. (So, "Pearl harbor" - not such a good idea, as there are only 3 main characters.)

Under your nomunation, which has to be in bold, you must provide a list of characters that we will be playing with given that we choose your theme. Near the characters, put a brief summaryof their character, for those who are rusty on the story you are suggesting.

After listing your characters and descriptions, draw a ling like so "~~~~~~~~~" underneath the list, and suggest a few rules for the game if you want to.

And underneath that nominate yourself or someone else for the modirating position.

i don't know about the others, but i as myself don't have that much time these days to spend on the net (i haven't even taken M's questionare yet :()... and this particular task requres a certain amount of time to think about the movie, theme, actors... and all the details that take much time... that i don't have right now... :(
btw, that OC is totally unknown to me...

Should we all agree on a widely known movie, then? Any suggestions? It'd be fun to pay out Titanic or even Spiderman...

staringelf, love your idea! I vote for American Pie, too. It's the perfect theme, with young people and whatnot. :heh: I'll give you the repuations as soon as I can, apparently I havn't given out enough reputation since the last time I gave you... :p

Yeah, I think it's perfect. It has lots of young characters, and we can make all sorts of funny situations with lots of ACTION :heh: :laugh:
