Katy Perry's second album will be released on August 24, but it actually leaked yesterday. The first single off the album is California Gurls and it features the rapper Snoop Dogg. It is considered as the song of the summer '10 and it reached number one in many countries.

The second single is Teenage Dream, my personal favorite. :D "With a strong beat to back her up, Perry sings about a boy who makes her feel like a teenager again." The video is awesome, too.

California Gurls is so damn catchy that you can't get rid of it.

My favorites are Teenage Dream, E.T. and Circle the Drain. California Gurls is the weakest, in my opinion. It's a very good pop-rock record.

Katy's nice! But, indeed, nothing extremely amazing. She's good to listen to sometimes. Pretty refreshing, but it gets too repetitive soon. Thanks for the download links...

Did you guys know about some controversy around this E.T. song? People were saying it was ripped off from t.A.T.u., that it sounded exactly the same. I don't think it's like that -- it just reminds me of some songs from the girls and that's it, nothing, like, a sin. :)
Best song on the album, however.

Yes, E.T. sounds a lot like some t.A.T.u. classic songs, especially All About Us. It should have been a t.A.T.u. song.
