Hi, I'm Anaïs, 20 years old and dumb ... oooh no it's not the good thread
I'm starting a new thread cuz' I need advices I wanna buy a new cell phone but I don't know if my little selection is good does anybody can tell me if this phone is better than this one and stuff ...:p so here's the winners : 1/ Samsung S401i # VGA camera. # Record and playback video clips. # Bluetooth®. # 65k colour screen. http://mobile.softpedia.com/phones/S...ng-S401i.shtml 2/ Samsung S400i # Small sleek slider phone. # Integrated camera with flash. # Video recording and playback. # Bluetooth® # Tri-band works in the USA and Canada. # 25MB internal memory 3/ Samsung D500 http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/m...d500bkaxeu.asp 4/ Nokia 6131 http://europe.nokia.com/6131 I'm waiting for your suggestions if you think that there's another cell which will be better :gigi: btw, I'm student and my telecom don't have to many phones ( all the cells ) Plus, I'm not rich ^^ edit : I have sale prices on the cells I "introduced" you :p |
Hey, phones are my hobby, I'll try t help you ;)
First - what you want from your phones? Combined mp3/video etc player? Or maybe just a phone to talk? ;) Nokia 6131 is not bad, but it doesnt have main screen protection... displey is without protecting glass D500 doesn't have an memory card reader, so you can't you it as an mp3 player I think these phones are the best choice. Youcan try Nokia 6233 (2mpix camera, QVGA screen) or SE k750 (RDS FM radio, 2mpix autofocus camera)... P.S i like Benq-siemens EF51.. Such a beuty.. Looks like a Creative ZEN micro  |
Don't go for Samsung, they are evil
|
^ I agree.. Samsung is the worst ever..
Get SonyEricsson, they rock.. I have the w800i - the orange one w/ 2.0 megapixel camera, mp3 player/walkman, 512mb memorystick (should be included, and is upgradable to 1 or 2gb), etc etc. - i love it, although I can't wait to get a new phone, but that's just because I want more options and stuff on my phone :p The new cybershot phone is awesome too :D |

they're the "only" phones with I can have sale prices *cries* it's a question of "lifetime"? it's not "robust"? |
I still have the good-old Nokia 3330 from 2001. I am now officially the only person in Slovenia left with a monochromatic green display. And I love it! There's nothing more robust than old Nokias. It's been thrown from ridiculous heights and from ridiculous distances (not purpusefully of course) and getting away with nothing but a few scratches. It's only downside for me was it's weight, but that got solved with buying a li-poli battery (the original lasted for 4 years). My service provider sent me dosens of offers for free new ones, but I rejected all of them. Who knows though... one of these days I might venture into the world of fancy colour screens that drain batteries like a bastard and semi-useful onboard digicams. But I have a feeling that'll happen only when I a)immigrate, b)GSM technology gets cancelled for something new. Whichever comes first. :p

Seems right maybe, until they try and strangle you while you're trying to get some sleep at night :dead:
Ok.. So maybe not.. I just think Samsung sucks, just like Motorola.. I would say I love Nokia, but I don't like their newer models  Can't wait to get a PDA when my plan ends next year.. Don't know which one yet, but I'm sure there will be a bunch of new ones around this time next year  |

so, if I understand I'm better not to buy a Samsung because of the style? hehe I love the Samsung style :p anybody knows something about technical details? I'm trying to find a forum about cells and stuff but nobody makes "bad" critics about the cells I listed btw, thx everybody for your opinion ;) |
Style? I gues there are some nice designs out there, like that new super-slim one.. I don't like the software in the phone..
And I hate flip-phones :p |

Sakuya thx a lot for the links |
Flip-phones break easily if you use it often.. My mom had a flip-phone and she uses it a lot and after a while the the screen didn't light up anymore.. I guess the wires break or get jammed up, whatever.. Anyway, when looking for a new phone, I don't even bother looking at the flip-phones..
|
Flip phones are ooooooooooooogly!
I have a Sony Ericsson K700i, easy on the eye :) |
Pfft, flip phones are awesome :gigi:

Motorola look good but half of them break. My friend works in Phones4U and she says that SOOOO many of the Motorolas are returned due to them breaking. She has two Nokias :)
|
In my habit opinion BenQ-Siemens are the best :gigi:
