Druzya
 

I had MTV on whilst waiting for the football to start.

I saw this video. The group are called 'Druzya'. Giving themselves a Google friendly name clearly wasn't a priority.

Anyway - apart from being instantly besotted with the two girls in the group - I was struck by how unlike the bulk of commercial Russian music it is. Insomuch as it at least feels as if there was a degree of heart and love envolved in the creation of this.

This probably isn't the best new song I've heard today, let alone this week or month. But I've already listened to it quite a number of times. And I'm liking it more with each listen. Something in it excites me quite a lot. I certainly want very much for them to do well.

Anyway, if anyone watches the video and has any opinions, I'd be interested to hear them.
