On those lyrics you posted it says "Vokzal" but I guess the website moderator or whoever posted those lyrics mixed the titles up. The title is actually Sneg (at least this is what sunny said) :) I LOVE THIS SONG SNEG!!!!!

huh... guys, so finally YOU are confused mith the titles of these 2 songs :gigi: It's really confusing. U see, it happened so that both songs are slow, with the winter mood... and the most confusing thing is that Vokzal's firts line is 'Стелется граммами-метрами под ногами снег.' And Sneg begins with 'Серый вокзал завязал, холодными ветрами - секретами'. See what I mean? :rolleyes: This thing makes ppl confused. I also had difficulties with recognizing the titles. So I switched on Media Player and as it writes the information on the song [like title, even if it's different from the name of the file]... well, I got the idea how to call those songs. Besides, 'Тай, тай, тай на руках моих снег' looks like a logical refrain to the song with the name Sneg, right?
Oh, and there's one more problem... Glukoza, as well as Zemfira and Tatu, has complicated lyrics. So it's sometimes impossible to get what she sings. Like with this line of Vokzal. It can be:

Thank you so much everybody, esp. sunny poison ;) for giving us these great videos. to be honest I haven't been to Russia for quite a long time so all of this was quite new to me and some of it was suprisingly good :) ...some was not. Ok so here is what I think:

Smash - Freeway - Well they do look a little gay. I don't know if they intended it. It sounds good though, like something from the 80s - Russians love 80s :)

Dima Bilan - Ya popal - Nothing special... he's ok I guess.

VIA GRA - Ubey moyu podrugu (Kill my girlfriend). - To be honest I didn't really lilke them. They are from my home town btw (I think). The video was a little funny but still nothing special

Diskoteka Avariya - Nebo - The guy's voice is overly annoying and the lyrics are dumb too, so I didn't even finish listening it... I don't know why it's so popular... :dknow:

Fabrika - Pro lyubov - The girls are very cute and sexy :yes: However the song is kind of cheesy...

Mihail Grebenschikov - Bulki - This guy IS crazy. Actually the video turned out pretty well (except for the parts with his underware, his sexist lyrics and slightly annoying voice).

Gluk'OZA - Nevesta - This video was probably my favorite on the list. The whole cartoon idea is kind of cool where she repeats the plot of Tarantino's Kill Bill, borrows a little from The Matrix and a litle from everything else. The song is also a mix of Pulp Fiction style music and Aguzarova voice. Overall it's a cool video :)

Gluk'OZA - Sneg - This is a lovely song and it does bring that winter mood... I like the song even more than Nevesta

Mumiy Trol' - Bear - All I can say is ... EWWW!!! I never liked the band but this was just tasteless and very vulgar. I must admit it was a little funny though (just a little bit)

well, D, u if u saw the vid, u understood that Glukoza is an animated creature. Even at her concerts she always has some screens behind her with wonderful animation of all the kinds. She also has a symbol that appears in ever video and concert - black doberman. Girl really has this dog and loves it a lot. So doberman is usually both on the screens and on the stage [when it's possible of course]. And U are right finding something from Japan animations about Glukoza. Her first video - Nenavizhu - was like the one u saw but everything was happening in some huge asian city judging from the tribes written everywhere. It's the part of the image... it's how it was planned to be... and music has to follow the image [or vice versa], right? ;)

she did wrote all the music and lyrics. But she was an infamous school-girls then. And she just was lucky enough to get into the sight of one of the most famous producers of Russia - Max Fadeev. One who produced Linda and TOTAL. He's a talented guy with good ideas and he was working on this 'project' for some years before the first video of Glukoza appeared on tv screens. Yes, Glukoza is a project. Well thought out and planned. But Natasha Ivanova is a real girl and qite talanted one. She sings, she's the author of the songs... Max just helped to improve the image... he shot her some videos and made some promotion. He loves this project a lot. So, I don't think u should mean the word 'project' in a negative way.

sure I saw this girl on TV she's a popular person now. I saw her taking part in some shows, and even the programe 'Let's go' that just follows the singer during the tour. All I can say... she's nice person, definitely not stupid... a bit shy but has her drive... smiles a lot but doesn't act in front of camera. I mean if she was tired, she didn't pretend she was not. She was like 'i'm tired, so u'd better leave me alone and annoy those guys from my band'. What else... she adores dogs... she's very young but acts mature enough.
About the voice... it's made with computer in the most of the songs. It's obvious, i think. It's just the style she's recognized for. But in 'Sneg' it sounds like her natural one: young, a bit shy but stubborn.
