It may not seem THAT much, but that is the minumum price. 52 euros minimum per person is wicked expensive.

I'm getting a discount though from my dad's work... shhhh :p

QueenOfLesbania 07-04-2006 14:53

the tickets for horsens, denmark seem to be around £70.. not too bad really, but considering it's outdoors (and it's always raining here) i think they should be cheaper - am i the only one who reckons old mo is getting greedy these past few years? i saw her in earl's court, london in both 2001 and 2004 and if i remember correctly the tickets were like £75 each.
but oh well, still gonna try and get tickets when the start sales on the 22nd ;) she's too much fun to miss, not to mention it's the first time she ever dragged her arse to wee ole baconland :D

High ticket prices have NOT stopped Madonna fans from snapping up tickets to this Summer's CONFESSIONS TOUR.....Take A Look.....

Las Vegas - SOLD OUT

From: http://www.drownedmadonna.com/index.php

Also, Madonna is among the best dressed women (according to Harper's Bazaar):

1 Gwyneth Paltrow
2 Kate Moss
3 Thandie Newton
4 Liberty Ross
5 Sienna Miller
6 Laura Bailey
7 Peaches Geldof
8 Yasmin Le Bon
9 Zadie Smith
10 Madonna

The full top 50 is in the May issue of Harper`s Bazaar, on sale Monday.

"Madonna broke U2's record of the fastest selling shows in Montreal yesterday. The first show sold out in 22 minutes and the second show sold out in 18 minutes for the second one - meaning she sold 30,000 tickets in less than 40 minutes! "
http://www.madonnalicious.com/

For France the places were from 70 euros to 180 euros.
But some crazy prices coul be found on other sites which aren't directly connected with the official places of sales in the country.
I remind I saw on a site a kind of pre-booking (it was before even the official dates were announced) where you could buy places for 559 euros....

Seems the site I linked to the other day was doing the same coz tickets are now on the official retailer site for £80-£160 for London.

yeah I remember you saying they were extremely overpriced

KellyJ 12-04-2006 05:58

By far in my opinion the best song on the album is:flag:

1. Push
2. Sorry
3. How High
4. Hung Up
5. Forbidden Love

At least they're not like U2 or Madonna, ripping their fans off by having them pay 100 euro's and over for damn concert tickets

Rachel 12-04-2006 19:44

Kinda in a different league don't you think though Anouk? ;)

Anouk 12-04-2006 19:58

I'd really appreciate if it you'd stop trying to make me look dumb

Who cares if they are in a different league? It's music and the prices they are charging for the tickets are rediculous! Besides, Madonna has enough money to make sure Lourdes' and her other sons' great grandchildren can retire right after birth.. And it's not like they'll have a huge expensive stage they need the money for.. I went to Kylie Minogue's Showgirl tour and her stage was huge with thousands' of lights and sh*t, and the ticket was priced normally, around 35 euro's..

It's all about demand!

I agree with Anouk though, I was really looking forward to seeing Madonna but how many hardcore Madonna fans my age can afford that much for tickets, I think she should have taken notice that she has fans who don't have as much money as she does. I mean it would already cost me a lot to travel to one of her concerts.
.

Anouk 12-04-2006 22:26

^ I know some people who were crazy enough to buy tickets to 6 or 7 concerts  One lives in NYC and one in the UK somewhere.. So that must've cost them around 1000 dollars and 1000 pounds, which is rediculous I think.. And that's not even adding travel costs and stuff..

I do care. I would pay 100 euros for Madonna and never for Tatu. I'm not even a fan of Madonna but I think the lady produces goddamn good shows. That's the difference.

As for Tatu merchandise. They will extend their stock. They are working at that. We are speaking of good quality products here and nothing will make me to buy their lousy middle age T-shirts with "I drove with Vodkova" or whatever it was.

Anouk 12-04-2006 22:30

As far as I know, last time she was over here, she playbacked halfway through the show.. I wouldn't even pay half of 100 euro's to see her :none:

With that ammount of dance she puts in her show, she has to do it. It's all well balanced here.

Hurt Me Too 12-04-2006 22:35

Artists who do extensive dancing like Madonna or Britney Spears always get criticism for playback...but I'd rather have a little playback rather then see them pass out on stage because they can't sing and dance at the same time.

nath 13-04-2006 13:49

For info, at Paris , in June 2006, places for Robbie Williams in 2nd category are sold for 150 euros...so Madonna doesn't seem to get the priviledge of high prices.

spyretto 13-04-2006 14:03

100 euro to go and see Madonna is nothing. She charges her American audience 3 times as much.
