i hate shakira english songs i prefer the albums in spanish, before "the laundry service" now she's too comercial... allways in tha radios "my hips don't lie" make me sick :ill: and all the time in my head waaa

I love her 'donde estan las ladrones' cd, OFV2 and FOV1 are a few of my favourite cds too - but yeah, i hate hips dont lie. stupid record labels !

Shakira sucks... the only album I actually liked was pies descalzos, the lyrics were spectacular...

it's a terrbile version because wiclief not speak spanish and his voice hear too bad ... the song is made only for english and the spanish version is an ugly adaptation
belive me much better it's the albumd like "donde estan los ladrones " or "estoy aqui" now she's so egocentric... you know what happening with a concert at ... i dont remember the country but the concert was almost empty ... and all for the tickets was too expensives

i bought Fijacion Oral Vol. 1 the other week... (it came with a nice dvd - La Tortura Vid, and 2 interviews going for about 28 minutes :D)...

my favourite shaki album !! that, OF2 (the edition WITHOUT hips dont lie =p), and Donde Estan Las Ladrones totally own :)

WHY did she recorded it in Spanish????,,, some stuff she says in that song (the Spanish version) don't have any sense,,, really,,, it's just like Novaya Model' .... I prefer the English version,,, it's just like translating Vsya moya lyubov to All my love...... that song is on radios all the time,, I kind of hate that now,,, but i still love the World Cup version,,, does anyone have it?????? plzzz.

c0c0, do u know what's up with Shakira troubles with copyright about such song???,, I heard she was about to be taken to court,, and then that using that part of Jerry Rivera's song in Hips don't lie was wiclief's idea and then that that part doesn't neither belong to Jerry Rivera,, so there's no case.... well,,,, I don't wanna brake my brain now..... does anyone know WTH happened at last????

Shakira used to be good but she sold out with the Wyclef Jean single and now she's as bad as Mariah Carey and the other whores of the music business.
She didn't even have to do that cause she was successful in her own right...but she did...what can you do.

It's so long to speak it in English, but she said that had listened it in a hip hop song, so she didn't see problems in using it, but it seems to me that she should admit that the song belongs to jerry rivera, she only said: "it was a song that i had listened when was a kid"

I love shakira, but HDL is the only song of hers that i hate.

It was never on OF2, it was only recorded in Jan when Sony forced her to go back into the studio to record a new single... just because 'Dont Bother' only did 'OK' and her freaking label wanted a massive hit, a la Wherever, Whenever (Which was a great song anyway).

HDL is commerical crap that is too overplayed. I don't see why people arn't starting to hate it.


Fijacion Oral Vol. 1 is a much better CD anyway, it's a shame she hasn't spent as much time promoting it as OF2... :bum:

really ? Mine is La Pared, Lo Imprescindible or... LAS DE LA INTUICION !! i love that track. it's supposed to be the next single, but with HDL being so big it seems like she hasn't had a proper single in aaaagesssssssss
