QueenBee 07-02-2005 00:47

teeny, it was like a month and a half ago or so.. called "The winterland". I was surprised the carousels were open but YAY happy.

Except we only rode one since we (my friend and I) were on the way home from a shopping spree, and we didn't have much money...

I wanted to ride this scary one though but my friends are way too scared so I guess I'll never ride them. :( (that sounded dirty. like I was gonna ride my friends  It's late here, you get the idea!)

Cams (^_^)

Thanks! I did have an interest in photography long ago, now I couldn’t be bothered taking the time to capture the moment.

forre 13-02-2005 18:41

noki_the_cat, Thanks for the explanation. The pics are really great! Did you take all of them yourself?

A small snowy contribution from Sweden.

 ???

Just confused by the random image sizes, seems like some are low quality scans, and so on .... No accusations, but it will not be pleasant to present ohers photos as your own ;)

cat, my post was not dedicated at pissing you off - I simply said what I think.
And I am still not convinced that ALL those pics you have uploaded and presented as yours are taken by you :dknow: (you are not obligated to prove it either), but for the time being, those are my thoughts.
Having an interest in photography is great, I hope you can take lots more pictures in the future. :coctail:

Very nice, teeny.:done: Pics like that sometimes make me wish I lived in Europe instead of the U.S.

QueenBee 03-03-2005 03:17

Who goes bikeriding in the snow for no reason?
TIIIIINAAA! :D

I like it... makes me happy that I'm inside but at the same time makes me wanna go ooooutside. :)

hey I had to go to a meeting about an upcoming jobinterview. But I could have taken the bus instead. But it was only 30 minutes by bike in the snow and I had a chance to get a few new pictures while out.

Honu, well it's better to live in Sweden or Norway when it comes to snow. We only get the annoying amount in Denmark and skiing is impossible because of too little snow and no real hills

 am I going nuts or what? :ithink: What makes those teeny snow pics so european?? they could've easily be taken in the US ... her previous Copehagen pics were very Euro, but not the snow :dknow:

and since no one is commenting on my Zoo pics, I will have to re-link my FAV pissed-off/sad/in-bad-mood water thing that i just adore: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...85840012KlgNBQ isnt it CUTE?? :gigi:

awwwww :D Cool pic, Chris :D
Not too sure about the fish though.

Hey did you spot any gay penguins while there? The penguins in Berlin (or was it Hamburg?) adopted a few stones it seems..

I agree that there are places in the U.S. that would look the same, especially in the Northeast or the Midwest. The lake in Central Park during the winter would look the same. Any of the lakes around Madison, Wisconsin, too. But you're not usually going to find winter scenes like that in the South or out West. And since I'm currently not living anywhere that looks like teeny's pic., it looks foreign enough for me to classify it as European.:)
I hadn't seen your previous zoo pics. Nice picture!:done: It's usually tough to take a picture through aquarium glass, but good job. Do you know what kind of fish it is? Looks like an Eschmeyer Scorpionfish. Pretty cool.
