Photoshop & Paint Shop Pro
 

I know almost nothing about how to use all what are layers, brushes... on Photoshop & Paint Shop Pro.

I've got a lot of "Brushes": ABR files..but I don't know how to install them in the 2 softwares (I've copied them into the brushes file but it doesn't seem to work) and I don't know how to apply them on a pic.

Could you help me in explaining the process, please ?

I'm searching too for some interesting brushes or filters BUT NOT in the icon/avatar size.
I would prefer them with the normal picture size.

And if you have other advices, it would be nice to post them here.

Owww I can't help out at the moment because I don't use Photoshop on this computer... but as soon as I get it back I'll gladly explain anything I know. :gigi:

I think you already figured it out, but basically you choose them from the list, pick a color and just paint. :D When it comes to brushes you've downloaded they're usually not meant for dragging around, rather to just click on the image.

I'll try to explain layers later, they're veeeery useful and simple but sort of difficult to explain.

I installed Photoshop CS 9 but it displays an activation screen and when
I try to activate it, says error ... try later, what can I do?! :cry:
