Forum Access problems?
 

is anyone else having problems accessing the forums? the past 2 days ive only been able to get one like 2 times....

Many people have. Due to DNS upgrades the main domain gets "lost", it doesn't know where to direct the user. We are trying to solve the problems. Everything should be in full operation during the coming few days. We apologise for troubles.

A way to workout the problem is to add some entries to your hosts file:

Add...

62.213.86.8 forum.tatysite.net
62.213.86.17 eng.tatysite.net
62.213.86.17 tatysite.net
62.213.86.17 www.tatysite.net

to (use notepad or another text-editor)...
Windows 9x: C:\Windows\hosts [1]
Windows XP: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
Windows 2000: C:\WinNT\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
Linux/Unix: /etc/hosts
[1] Your Windows 9x may not have a hosts file, so just add it.

... and you'd be able to connect to the forum and the rest of tatysite all the time :)

Download a Firebird browser from www.mozilla.org . I use it on my Linux machine but it works fine on Windows too as far as I know. It's A LOT better than Internet Explorer and the best thing is, it doesn't have any problems with name resolution - just redirects to the right location :)

..............or try Opera 7.0 which works fine for me all the time

Maybe you should post the solutions on the front page of tatysite.net... I think a lot of people are still having problems getting into this forum.

Mad Debz, it should be here:

Windows 9x: C:\Windows\hosts [1]
Windows XP: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
Windows 2000: C:\WinNT\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

When you find the file, right click and choose "open with.." then find notepad. Add the text johnbush entered and save the file.
Instead of right click you can double click and simply choose notepad. If you have no idea how it's done, then contact me via msn when you're online. Then I'll guide you through it :)

Thanks for the sound advice johnbush! I did exactly as suggested, but sometimes (well last night to be specific) i still couldn't access the site....no biggie, the probs are few and far between so im not overy worried or inconvenienced ;)

When i opened the host file, i had a whole bunch of wierd websites cashed there from like popups from hell...so i went ahead and got rid of them :p

kishkash, same here.. :D Especially those search-stuff.. And sites I get re-directed to when pages cannot be displayed.. :D

anyone else having a prob with the site
 

i am not able to access the form on the site using aol i get a error can't find site and a list of site address everytime but i am able to use the form when i use internet explorer which i hate. Anyone else having this problem?

I just got back in the forum, after not being able to get in for over a month. Well since I got here, I noticed the forum isn't as populated with members as usual. Infact at one point, I was the only member in the forum, and it was only 8 p.m. where I am. Usually there are alot of ppl there.

I guess alot of ppl are not able to get in as I wasn't able to. Only its ashame, cuz this site is by far the best for tatu fans. I hope the problem is solved soon.

Just wondering what happened to everyone today? is something wrong again or is it just a slow day :dknow:

of all the people that have been on and off, not many of them were from the US...wondering about that
i did what johnbush said, and havent been having trouble, but what about everyone else? :(
