let's see..i am a fan of big jewelry even though that was very last season, splashes of bold color to accent whatever dark garb i'm wearing, form fitting everything.
i am not a fan of more than two pieces of denim, brown and black, or faux fur, among others.
lately i've been obsessing over diesel and donna karan, as well as trash and vaudeville. and when it comes to denim...i'm a fan of true religion, blue cult, joe's jeans, sevens, diesel, and miss sixty.
this is a thread about clothes, shows, accessories...aka girls can be well, girls. and you can post pics and online shopping sights and everything.

what accessories do people use? I never know what to get that would go with my clothes???
i actually favour tailored shirts, tailored trousers or hipster jeans with either boots or trainers.
pretty much the average outfit for your everyday geek.
summer time i like fitting t shirts. on a fat day i like my t shirts to be a bit baggy :)
brands i like : gap jeans, timberland almost anything, nike trainers, levi shirts [hate their jeans though] and calvin klein tops.
have this black denim jacket i got from gap thats collarless. i love it to bits. on a cold night ill wear it, or a beige suede leather jacket.
when i feel like blending into the night, a black shirt/black trousers/black leather jacket/black boots :)
im not one for clothes much. pretty much everything in my wardrobe goes with everything else and is more casual than anything else. the trendy stuff i mostly wear when im supposed to be going somewhere nice.
ive got some indian styled tops for weddings and formal functions too. mostly black with those as well.
im just your average nerd dresswise really
I'm a such a sucker for diesel, calvin klein & billabong jeans. Love tank tops and my calvin klein & fcuk women's boxers...yep...typical lesbian. :laugh:
accessories - watches, bands, a few bangles in the mix, simple necklaces (nothing too over the top), sunglasses :dead:, and a few rings. i even consider nail polish an accessory cause it's soo hot on certain people.

All I can say is EMO. I usually wear a pair of my Low-rise vintage sandblasted destroyed jeans (American Eagle, GAP or Abercrombie) with tight fitting band shirts and random ones I find with cool sayings on them (ie. I love party girls and She's so lucky). Sometimes a black or white polo under my t-shirt with sleeves flipped up and the collar sticking out. Other days a plaid, solid or stripped button down. And of course the infamous Studded Leather Belt that I'm actually allergic to, but I wear it anyways cause it's hot. Black zip-up hoodie is a must if it's cold.
If I'm at the Buddhist temple, I wear these really awesome temple pants. I really don't know how to descibe them... they are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. I'll take a picture tonight and post it later. And then a white or black t-shirt or wife beater under my robe.
For work I wear Dark pants (Pinstriped or solid) with oxford shirt and a sweater if it's cold.

Rachel - my boots get recognized and commended. people have commented quite a bit. and they love them. you might call those people blind but that's just you :gigi: these same people have great taste in fashion and style. who commends ck jeans these days? no one. and billabong denim sucks. few people where it. there aren't many carriers here in the city and well franky, it's a socal brand, for surfers. i.e. it sucks. especially for us urbanites.

Who knows where those clothes are made from. They might say EU on the label but much of the manufacturing proccess takes place in the third world. ( where the exploitation is taking place ). They go from place to place. China, for example is one big expolitation factory.
That's why I'm saying to stop worrying about whether we'll get the latest designer clothes or the latest car model and all that crap and start doing something that has meaning.
I got a friend in America who changes her cars every year and wears all the latest clothers...but she's nowhere near as happy. My aunt was doing that all her life and she's now in a permanently depressive state. She must have realised by now that all was meaningless and stupid.

oh then yeah..the last time i was there was when i found an urban outfitters bag with 2 shirts and a reciept for 89$ :eek: pffft couldve gotten the same shirts at old navy for 20$! urban outfitters :bebebe:

i was never a fan of lacoste. it's become the middle class wanna be rich stereotype. that is, everyone and their mother sports lacoste and it doesn't look right anymore. i prefer le tigre. but some of le tigre is too sporty or teenage. i own no lacoste, thank god. ok need to stop ranting.

I don't have any pictures of the sexiness of my clothing...yet. But I wear mostly black and white tops with denim. But I also and I'm also very fond of leather pants even if they went out of style three years ago, I still love them.
The main labels I buy:
Express For Men, cheapest of all the nice clothes I have, and it is the only place I buy my underwear from. The also have the best screened tees.
Express, I have no hesitations about wearing girl clothes so I buy alot of jeans here too.
Armani Jeans: You can get a good pair of jeans that last a long time here for only about $150-$200 bucks.
My favorite jeans ever though are Victoria Beckhams VB line, I have one pair and I wear them often.
Shoes are mostly trainers in the form of skateboarding shoes or reeboks
But if I wanna look really good for cheap I go to Target which is wear I get my hats, (I have a hat exactly like Lux's it is also my fave. hat.) And I also get my blazers at Target.
I usually wear something black. Hehe. Almost no exceptions. Most often you'll see me in black jeans, a black t-shirt and a black sweater. Sometimes I have wear band-merchs tho (example (http://shop.nuclearblast.de/showgrps.php?kategorie=Shirts+%26+more&group=02&groupname=Band-Merchandise)), so it's not ALL black all the time :)
I see people mention footwear. I have some quite neat army boots and some cute, black adidas shoes I wear when I'm too lazy to wear those darn heavy army boots :laugh:
I like jewelry. I've had several rings, but since I like them black I've had these cheap once made out of stone (yup), so they always break. Hahaha. It's been a while since I've had a ring. I think I'll buy a nice silver ring sometimes. Besides that I have a baphomet or a celtic axe in a necklace.
So yeah, I dress pretty much like a metalhead. Probably not too usual around here? :)

I dunno men can pull off heels if they have the right figure, like emo boys. I love vb jeans! except they make my ass look like a black girls...xD it's odd.
I love short skirts and boots. I have these platformed boots made of black leather I got em at hot topic a long time ago. And I wear them with like schoolgirl skirts or this one ruffled black skirt with the ramones logo on it. omg i should post pictures...but my damn camera is broken.
