if i may help...
since mp3 IS mpeg2 layer3, i guess you need a program that could extract audio from video (mpeg2)... if that's the case, download goldwave (www.goldwave.com), open the video file and save it as mp3. (but be sure to install lame encoder too (from that page also)) ;)
