I don't know if many of you have heard of Tokio Hotel, but those of you who live in Europe probably did.
It's a boyband that consists of two twin brothers, Bill and Tom (aged 15) and other less-important band members. Their hit single "Durch den Monsun" topped the charts in Germany and other European contries.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here can help me translate the lyrics to "Durch den Monsun". I'll give 7 reputation points to whomever does it first. Note that 7 is a lucky number! ;) Oh, and if you have any information on the band, post it in here!

Yeah, they show just about anything. It only takes watching one of those reality talk-shows they got going on. I dunno German (though i studied it for 7 years :eek: ), but damn, i wish i did! The people who come there look and act in the strangest possible way. Yet it appeared that The L Word was indeed too much for German TV since they didn't show any signs of buying it anytime soon. And I was shocked about that! I mean it's German TV for crap sakes! But i'm guessing they gave in to the public demand and Pro7 will be airing it at the beginning of 2006. Bill makes me feel wrong, I don't know why, because I liked Tatu at 15, well more so when they were 17+, and I am the same age, but still. These boys make me feel dirty for thinking they are hot. Bill is a gay-girl-who-doesn't-want-to-be-gay's dream. Just clip his b** and he could stay that way forever, and you'd have the perfect looking little lesbian girl with a penis and no one to call you gay for finding him hot.

I think you totally misread my intention. I agree with you, exactly. I don't want to get into some long winded explanation, but I have a hard time avoiding those... My point was that society, humans in general like to think in black and white, put labels on things. People don't seek to be labeled, but people are labeled. My point is that if someone says, I am not a lesbian, people assume they are 100% straight. Vice versa. Trust me, I have faced this long convo many, many times. My point was that people don’t fall in love with genitalia, they fall in love with souls, so why is it that one has to label themselves by the genitalia they seek, when there are some out there that don’t even think of the sex. People want to think they understand this idea, but then the moment someone says, I am not this label, I just love someone, they assume it to be a negation of a sexual love as well. As if by saying I am not this extreme, therefore I can't be anywhere in the middle, but must be on the complete other side of the spectrum. I don’t think it is so black and white, because love between two souls can’t be so black and white.

Anyone from germany here? Tokio Hotel might be cool but they're getting on our pour nerves here in germany. You can see them everyday on almost every channel and in every magazine issue.The girls go crazy when they see them. They scream, cry and collaps. It's somehow scary.

It starts at 3pm with them on Viva Live, after that there will be several reports, interviews and shows from the past and at the end they will show a whole concert from Cologne recorded a week ago :)
