so, I thought of opening a new thread, so that we can discuss the following issue...
Gossip and speculations are always interesting ... and I always have this thing of trying to figure out if someone famous is Gay :gigi: So I thought in this thread we can gossip and discuss about famous people who we think might be/are/maybe gay ... Just for the entertainment value of it :coctail:
I start with this woman (http://www.bonkablebeauties.com/females/SharonStone/pictures/SharonStone018.jpg) ... I've had this feeling for long time that she is gay. And Ive only recently read that she received an Award for her support of gay and lesbian civil rights :coctail:
Not to mention that she always goes from the 'gay-ish' roles .. hihi... not that it means anything, but... I just get this vibe from her.

you're accusing my high school alumni of being gay?! yes she did go to my high school and many of my friend's parents were in the same grade as her, from what i heard she got around... but not really with the kids in my school, but the neighbooring ones. My diagonal neighboor was her best friend, i could go and ask if they had any lesbian affairs (if she's anything like her daughter, i wouldn't be suprised) hahahahahaha
but i can't think of any celebrities that i could label as such

Really .... I think its more than 'sensitive' :gigi: .... and I just recently saw that movie... that's actually why I decided to start this thread :rev: ... since she played GAY so well. The 3rd part is my fav as well ... even though I dont like Ellen Degeneres, sharon Stone definetely makes up for it :coctail:

The video for his single Rough Riders, or whatever the hell that crap was, had a lot, and I mean a lot of shirtless guys. Dude was surrounded in shirtless guys. The vid wasn't your average x-number-of-women-having-ass-cramps right-before-your-eyes. The video didn't have one.single.woman.
Just a bunch of guys jumping and yelling and being shirtless. Of course, they were all ripped.
Even if he was trying to get the whole prison environment into his video, whether it was intentional or not, it was still gay.

Britty's brother had a chance to become acquainted, while working and attending school in Virginia, with Patricia Cornwell and from everything he knew, she is a fairly "out" lesbian. Maybe not "out" throughout the country or world, but "out" in her hometown area.
Oh, and as for Angelina Jolie, it is possible she says she is bisexual to be "fashionable," but she definitely has not jumped on any recent bandwagon. Oh oh, Nicole Kidman with Naomi Watts....and Heath Ledger with Martin Henderson! Caterfly and I have an entire conspiracy theory about these crazies, lol, we have fun.
It is sort of a game we play on a regular basis. We have been following Naomi and Nicole's "friendship" for awhile now, and find it very interesting. For one, Nicole has been with Tom Cruise, can I say A-sexual (don't taint my wand boy- according to his ex-wife Mimi Rogers). His relationship with Cruz was rumored to be an arrangement for 3 years...oddly enough, 3 years later they break up, hmmmmm.
And when does Nicole or Naomi or just the press NOT mention the other?? You see, sometimes, when people interview them, they ask about the other, almost with a little grin, like ha, we know and we are going to make you talk about it. Nicole's been rumored to be seen in gay bars. Oh and when Naomi arrived at the airport for a film festival, she just happened to get the same limo that had supposedly taken Nicole to the airport. Then she just happened to have the same room as Nicole at the hotel (which had by then been recently vacated by Nicole). Naomi said this during an interview on TV, we saw, so she said it, lol. I find this sooo interesting.
And Naomi's past relationship with Heath was odd. Once there were some rumors (because Heath's in the gay cowboy movie) about Heath, they break up and he suddenly is in the press as after a lot of girls. It just seemed very unlike what I had read about him previously. Sure, he could be sowing wild oats, now that he's a free man again, but...interesting timing.
Now the best part is Martin Henderson (guy from the Ring). He and Heath are friends, in fact it goes way back, like Nicole and Naomi. Heath and Martin lived together in Aus. When Heath came to the states, he convinced Martin to move here and give "acting a try." Now, I am not sure about this, because I may be confusing it with them living in Aus, but I seem to remember reading that Martin lived with Heath in the US for awhile as well.
Now, this is onbviously a conspiracy theory, and we don't take it seriously, well not completely, lol. But we have tons of fun laughing whenever either is mentioned in conjunction with the other. And one of these days, if they all come out of the closet as being gay or bi, we could say, "wow, we were actually right!"
Oh and I can confirm that my brother did indeed know Cornwell. They weren't good friends or anything, but he worked at the coordinator of blood drives for VBS, and she would often do book signings with the drives. He got to know her as well as an aquaintance could. He always talked about her being openly gay, at least she was to him. I never realized until now that there was speculation about it.

Daphne however, said that it was teh Ring premiere that made her start to question their "friendship" because Naomi seemed much more interested in Nicole than Heath. Plus, I don't want to say too much on this, because I haven't gone through all past appearances with both Naomi and Heath, but I always got the vibe their "affections" were forced. It didn't seem natural. Like they'd be a bit distant, see camera, and start fondling. Then again I was looking for that, lol.

'Mulholland Drive' is not a good reason because 1) it's not actually a 'lesbian movie', 2) Watts' character in the movie wasn't very convincing IMO and 3) it's not logical to assume that every actor who plays a gay character in a movie is actually gay in real life also.

Mossopp, as far as people only thinking Charlize Theron (who Bitty mentioned because someone else had brought her up and was responding that it was her opinion if Charlize were anything other than heterosexual then possibly bisexual. I can say with certainty that Bitty did not say any of this because of "Monster" or any other role Charlize has taken on) , Naomi Watts, or anyone else is gay/bisexual simply because of a role played, of course that can and does happen. Members on this thread have even said as much but does this mean that is always the sole reason or even the inital reason for any single person's speculation? No. I am sure there are people in this world who questioned some of these actors before they ever chose a certain role or saw them in that role.
Case in point, as coolasfcuk has pointed out, no one said that they thought Naomi Watts was gay because of "Mullholland Drive." I am the one who brought her name up and when I did, I stated it was not because of "Mullholland Drive." In fact, the reason I even added that was so that people would not assume I thought it simply because she played a lesbian in it. Actually, I had not even seen "Mullholland Drive" when I first began to question her sexuality. My knowledge of her was mainly from the buzz about a possible Oscar nomination for that movie (which she did not get) and I did not know anything more about the movie other than it was typical, mind-tangling David Lynch fare. There were interviews with both her and Nicole that planted that inkling there...and then came "The Ring" premiere. :) If you read Bitty's post after my initial one, she and I have a whole "theory" about both Naomi and Nicole. And as far as her not being gay...who's to say. I don't think either one of us can truly know one way or the other. Anyway, I am not assuming she is. I am simply speculating, as this thread was intended for that purpose.

I'm astonished! I'm not even gay or truly bisexual, although I'm not 100% straight, yet I must be doing better than most gay people (I'm sure they're a disproportionately large part of the sample). I evidently got *all* the gay men and 8 out of 10 of the women. I have to say that I did find it easier to work out with the men. I was guessing with a few of the women. A team of coolasfcuk and me (85%, better at recognising girls than guys) should be almost 100% accurate.
I hadn't seen this thread before, so I'm late joining the party. I can confirm that Sinead O'Connor talked about a relationship with a woman in an interview in 1992, so I think she must be bisexual - she is now married to a man. In 2000, the gay magazine Curve reported that she had come out as lesbian, but in a later interview with The Advocate she said that she hadn't said that, "I don't think there really is such a thing as gay or straight. That's where I stand."

I've been suspecting her for a while now, but when I saw "But I'm a Cheerleader", I became convinced! I mean she's a great actress, but she seemed TOO gay to be just playing a role, if you know what I mean. I see she's been discussed in the thread and other people think she is indeed gay. ok, i guess this is offtop... well ah, no, i guess she wasnt the one with the crush. She was rather scared of her if anything (she even got slapped by Jolie's character). She was just very shy and lied only when she was asked questions and when provoked. For example when they read what Winona Ryder had written in her notebook about them, Georgina (Clea's character) gets angry, grabs Winona by the collar and screams something like: "My daddy is the head of the CIA and he can have you killed in minutes!" lol. Oh and she liked everything related to the Wizard of Oz. So, you definitely need to re-watch it. Though there was a 'dyke' there, but she was a fat one with a weird laugh, and she was hanging out with Jolie a lot in the beginning. So thats the one you might remember.
Perhaps it would help if you saw a pic (http://cleaduvall.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=92&pos=4). I didnt remember her character very well either, but as soon as I saw the pic, i remembered.
