It's been a while ago I held a pencil, thus some faults but maybe you like it.

Paris for Thérèse (http://community.webshots.com/photo/113209888/157118460mAUGKQ) (65% of the original size).

Off to bed, puff :bum:

Très jolie peinture. :) It reminds me of my youth, not because i lived there, but because i used to make paintings with aquarelle pencils. :D Ha, memories...

It's great, Sweetie!....really !.... ...I agree with WSPex , I especially like the work about the shadows on the bridge and water ...and the sky !!!
And I absolutely "FEEL" the atmosphere we can have in Paris in Winter....
I just discover it and I'm very impressed....Truth ! ;) :kwink:

Thanks to all. Me? I see only faults :p . The colours are good though, but it wasn't my creation - winter in Paris, you know? Rain, rain, rain ...

wow.. looks great. I like the bridge too.. and the sky :done:

Thanks to all. Me? I see only faultsKnow that problem. I was in a drawing class in school and we were to draw different things. Even though the other students had ok things to say about my drawings I could only focus on the errors.. so I gave up eventually.

cause youre perfectionists :) im the same ... i will only see the faults in what i do rather than focus on the achievement. it may seem negative but it makes me strive to do better constantly !

it kinda ruins the process for me though. Cos if it can't be perfect I end up not trying at all.. :lalala:
In a way it's the same reason I turn lazy. If I do things halfhearted I can't blame myself for not getting the best result possible

*Is also a perfectionist*
But only in my own work. :)

I used to draw and paint, but you are much better than me ;) And i'm also a perfectionist, so if the artwork wasn't perfect, I'd just get frustrated.

The color scheme captures the weather and feeling of the city, and I especially love how you did the buildings and bridge. The lines aren't perfect and straight. It's not so rigid. I love artwork like that. :rose:
