I've only listened to "Prosti Za Lyubov'" (I probably listened to some others before but I've forgotten about them now) and I gotta say I love it, especially when she "screams". Her voice is just amazing :yes: She looks cute, kind of like Avril Lavigne, whom I don't like.. :none: Aaanyways, I'm probably gonna listen to the other songs soon. *Gets her mp3-player*

So, did she win the whole contest? It's called "Factory of Stars" or something, right? (Fabrika Zvezd) I saw her during Eurovision and I really don't like that song... I don't know, it's just weird - and the lyrics don't appeal to me at all.

The mp3's are on my computer, phew, they took a long time to encode but the quality is almost better than how they were on the cd's i ripped them from! Now i'm experimenting with Adobe Illustrator (a program i don't have too much experience with) to make a cool booklet and cd label and other things for this collection. Ok, i'm in the process of uploading the VBR mp3s, the quality is astounding, i burned them and listened to them on my cd player w/ headphones (volume all the way up) and it was really better than on the cd i had them from, the sound was so clear... you'll be amazed.

Sadly, i have to go to class, so... you won't be able to get them till after them (which is in 5 hours)

News:

Yulia's Debut Album "Vysoko" is being prepared, there will be a presentation at the end of march. Their will be 12 tracks, 7 of which we know of ( Vysoko, Korabli, Proschai Moya Lyubov, Prosti Za Lyubov, Vsyo Dlya Tebya, Stop and Believe Me ) ... there then are 5 songs we don't know of.
The video for Stop is also going into production soon.

So... all we do now is wait, it's nice to have another album to look foward too for In March (i'm not talking about Tatu, but another person i like that's releasing one in March)

anyway .. listening to the 3 new songs Poka, OtputsiMenya and Bezhat Letet, I just felt lost like where is Yulia Savicheva? I dont know maybe that just me .. I'd say I like Poka the most amongst the 3, and noticed the Monokini screaming music background .. other than that I realised I could pick up more russian words and knew each by listening .. which lead me to remember a lot about Nichya ( Lena + Oleg ) .. and because of that .. yestersday I ended up listening to Nichya album again .. and realised how nice their musics were to listen to. yeah.

This whole album .. remind me to Monokini's album.. If I were to compare Savhiceva and Monokini .. I'd say Monokini had better songs album with full concept of her own. Savicheva had strong songs like Vysako and Prostie Za Lyubov.. but the whole album concept... I dont know .. I think I hear Monokini and with the song Stop which I heard Masha Rzheskaya .. now with lyric such as that songs... I feel like losing Savicheva.

I hope Maxim Fadeev do something about this... before all his girls Savicheva, Monokini, GlukOza and Masha Rzheskaya(sp?) sound the same.

As for the album, 1. I think it's WAY better and uncomparible to Monokini. 2. I think really that Rzhevskaya isnt' really fair, i think Masha sounds like Yulia, not vice versa. 3. It's completely Yulia, everything about it, don't worry, she's there.

AHA! basically both of you agreed with me .. but just stubborn. I've have mention it recently like everytime we get to hear new songs .. their songs always sound like each other, melody .. last was Glukoza new song that sound like Masha Koshka song, and then Savicheva song Stop that sounded also like Masha song .. now I'm hearing Monokini screaming music at the back on Savicheva's Poka.

Unlike before, there were soooo different from each other .. you can tell the different was so obvious from Monokini, or Glukoza or Masha or Savicheva. Now they all began sound alike!


I just think that.. Sneg Idet and Stop should be given to Masha so that girl can have her own unique concept... while Glukoza and Savicheva can stick to their own concept.

Those Russian girls' voices and their singing style are very similar ( think of Tatu without the screaming bits, lol )

he's the guy playing the piano in the Prosti Za Lyubov video. You can also see him playing the keys in the background of the band part of the video...

i like his shoes, of anything, i'd want those shoes..

As for the video, i don't think it's the best from a russian singer, but it is quite good in editing and stuff... and yulia acts well, but i hate the ending of this ... i'd rather just see them falling and not have the matrix-esque stop before landing... but others could refute this, but i don't like it.
Yulia acts well... as does the zombie acting guy (unless he really is that apathetic)... but when she realizes he isn't in the elevator with her, that look on her face is REALLY good.

Between the '13 ghosts' special effects of her 'performance sequences', and her emotion and his apathy, and clearly one of the weirdest moments in a music video, when someone you are handcuffed to does not happen to get in the elevator and it is going up (don't you hate it when that happens to you????)

Stop it's my favorite second video the first one
is Agoniya (Linda's new video)...

I love how the story flows on Stop... Very dramatic but it seems very real
not like acting. I love the effects on the video and I was watching
some pictures of Making the video Stop --- and almost all the video
was made on a green screen.

Fried Chicken.... lol. How about a dead Toad on the back of a fried chicken? You must admit, the chick has no rhythm whatsoever. >_> She dances around like a fool. Like... one of those nannies that are so tone depth they can't co ordinate their dances proper because lack of hearing. Or because they have a broken hip, and are unable to move. Most times she looks like she has to be careful... I seriously would not want to be on Stage with Savicheva... she'd smack me in the face, by waving her arms around like a voodoo doll. :rolleyes: t.A.T.u.'s dancers were better than her... and the dancers were bad. So she must suck. If she's trying for entertainment, that is understandable in it's own right... I mean, it IS funny watching some girl lip syncing, and dancing like a bafoon on stage. Maybe her management didn't want to take the "t.A.T.u." approach, and have her standing and singing. So they told her to throw in some movements so it wouldn't be so boring. I must admit, I can't watch any of her performances before laughing my ass off. I'm not a VERY judgemental person... but damn, I will admit, it's hilarious.

I haven't heard of Yulia Savicheva until I saw this thread...besides, I like her name Yulia so it draw my attention even more...And after I saw some pictures with her-- she cute :D-- then I copyed a small part of 'Stop' ...which I liked a lot!!
..I wonder which songs of her album were singles in Russia..."Stop" it's probably one of them since she made a video for it...anyway..thanx for posting the links with her songs..I'll listen them all...to get a better opinion.. ;)

Ice-cream capped Vyisoko from somewhere and I've got Prosti za lubov on a video clip DVD - I don't know of any others that were released apart from Stop (I really liked this vid too).. I hope they do a vid for the new song... esli v serdce.. I love it heaps! :)
