Ahh.
Cultural bias, taught behavior, society's limits, past experience,
"wrong" emotions, religion's guidelines, unsaid interpretation,
personal views, family involvement, weighing pros with cons.

It's odd how swiftly people can side with an opinion without
even realizing how much goes into consideration.

I'm too biased to discuss the underlying principles, causes, and
factors to this survey. But I do at least have an understanding
of this topic comprehensive enough to know that it can't be
settled as easily as it's been created.

An overall generalization, however, to be made in lieu of actual
substantial opinion is that a lot of adult minds still function at
a mentality less than intellectual.

Speaking of surveys: GLSEN's (the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) 2003 National School Climate Survey found that more than 4 of 5 lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered students report verbal, sexual or physical harassment at school and nearly 30 percent report missing at least a day of school each month for fear of their personal safety.
