Thank you sooooo much for that link! :done:
I was beginning to get worried about the situation in the Evanescence camp. 'Everybody's Fool' was supposed to have been released in the UK on Monday but it never materialised and I am yet to see the video on any TV channel here. I was starting to fear that the fall-out with Ben Moody might have had repercussions concerning what songs the band could release from now on.
My computer is rather crap so the vid was pretty fuzzy and jittery when I watched it but I must say, it does rule! It's nice to see Evanescence incorporating a bit of humour into a vid for a change (or was I the only one who found Amy in a blonde wig incredibly hilarious?! )

Since I'm in this thread, some good vids that immediately spring to mind are:

'Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades' - Brand New
'Papercut' - Linkin Park
'Bring Me To Life' - Evanescence

Although I know there's loads more that escape me right now.

(or was I the only one who found Amy in a blonde wig incredibly hilarious?! ).

Glad you like it. Those are much better with high-speed connection. It almost made my day. I didn't find it funny, just quite different. And new guy Terry got some air time. :done:

It's odd how they released the first 4 songs on the album as singles. That's unheard of in my experience.
'Papercut' - Linkin Park

Woah, wait. They made a video for that???!! I didn't even know that was a single. Maybe it's a European thing, or maybe I missed something....?

Woah, wait. They made a video for that???!!

Yeah. Why? Wasn't it released in America?
It's on the 'Frat Party At The Pankake Festival' DVD.
It's sooooo cool. If you play it in slow motion you can see all these cool, creepy special effects that you don't notice when it's played at normal speed!

OK, I finally thought of some more cool vids:

'Cute Without The E' - Taking Back Sunday
'She Loves Me Not' - Papa Roach
'Breaking The Habit' - Linkin Park
'Everybody's Fool' - Evanescence (<---- My current favourite. I was up untill 1am last night watching it on repeat. I am so sad! :D )

I know every vid I've mentioned on this thread was made in the last few years but that's all down to my lacklustre powers of recall. There's probably hundreds of cool vids from the 80's/90's that I just can't for the life of me remember!

Doesn't seem to work anymore! :(

Dammit, I'm sorry, but I found this amateur video for "Imaginary" that was done by a guy and a girl in Portugal I think, and I really want to give you the link, but I can't find it. This girl looks a lot like Amy, and the video is done quite well for amateurs. Oh, I wish I had some way to show you this!!! :grustno: I'll describe it, tho: :)

Starts out with a sunrise over some mountains. Then cuts to a grassy field, then back to the sky with some clouds and the sunlight shining. Then it gets overcast and starts to rain and thunder. Next to the girl laying in amongst some yellow flowers. Clips of the grass and trees blowing in the wind. Then she's kind of dancing in the grassy field (did I mention she looks a lot like Amy? Pretty good looking :p ). Then this shadowy figure comes along, and this is kind of like her alter ego that she follows throughout the video. Walking thru the grass after this black-robed person, and then she gets to a bunch of trees. Still following the person thru the trees. Sitting in the tall grass again. Walking thru the grass past a scarecrow, whatever that means, all the while still following this figure. Then the sunrise again, and a clip of a real nice scenery with mountains. Alternating sitting in the grass, and walking down this hill, with paper pieces flying all around (lyrics!). Then she's shown falling backwards into this big pile of papers inside a house. She gets up from the floor, and sees this figure again. Slowly walking down a hallway with the lights fading in and out. The figure is at the end of the hallway, and when she reaches it, and you see it's face, and it's the same girl under the robe. Then a quick clip to her waking up from a sleep in the grass, looking dazed and confused, and she has a "Missing" poster on her chest with her photo on it. Then alternating clips of scenery, including a wooden cross, back to her lying in the grass as before, and fade out.

Oh, you would love to see this I know. I'm soooorrry!

My fav music video has to be The Wildhearts-Caffeine Bomb video just becuse it is so bizarre including the singer being sick over the guitarist and tins of Baked Beans being poured over people on a couch.
My other fav is Exodus by The Levellers because it features loads of footage of Green Protests and the protesters shocking treatment by the police.Surprised it wasn't banned.

The video for 'Y-Control' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs has restored my faith that great music videos are still being made. It perhaps stands to reason that Spike Jonze directed it.

Watch it here (http://umusic.ca/yeahyeahyeahs/). Especially if young children weilding axes happens to be your bag.

You'll probably not be seeing it on TRL any time soon.
