Okay, so I didn't know in what forum to post this, but my father FINALLY got a job and I'm so bloody proud of him I'm going to post this all over.

Some of you might think he sold himself to the machine, and I sincerely don't care. My dad is one of four judges of La Academia, the Mexican edition of American Idol. x) So he appears on NATIONAL TV every weekend. ^_^

I dunno if it airs in Univision... I'll ask him. ^_^ It airs on TV Azteca channels, tho'. So it's very probable.

staringelf, actually, he is pretty nice. He's been a musical chronist and reporter for many many years, so he knows how to be real smooth while criticizing singers to the floor. ^_^

Lena410, I've seen him on TV before... he had a show about old time rock some months ago. ^_^ It's just that now everyone in this country is going to know who my dad is. x)

:D nice news darje ... keeps us updated on how he's doing judging ! Ive never watched the American Idol, but it gets lots of attention around here... and as i see ... all around the world i guess....

I remember when my dad was on one of the 2 Bulgarian channels when i was around 8 - but of course ... he wasnt quite as cool since he wasnt an Idol Judge, but instead was in a swamp up to his waist :laugh: I also doubt that everybody knew who he was since i doubt that many people were really interested in parasites :gigi: .... and not to mention in those 80's years he had Horrific mustage :eek: I got to see my bedroom window on TV though :laugh: ..weird decision by the documentary director ... funny stuff.....

ypsidan04, he's been in radio and TV since I was a little kiddo. So I guess I was born to it. He's real good, too! When I have a mic on my hands I sometimes get real nervous and stumble across my words, but he's an excellent orator. :D
