I'm not natural or normal,
less than human, you say.
My pride, dignity and life
you'd love to strip away.
We stand between ape and angel,
that's clear for anyone to see.
But how can you hope for heaven,
if from hatred your soul is not free?
You say I am so different,
and I pray that is true.
For I'd rather not be human,
if being human means being you.
Your words managed to wound me,
of this I do confess.
But still, in the end I know,
I'm more than human, not less.
So remember this the next time,
you wish to use words to make me weep.
Your words and actions only prove,
that stupidity is only the soul asleep.
