I want to speak.
I need to tell you how I feel.
But the words get stuck in my throat
and I choke on the silence.
But even if I screamed
until my vocal cords exploded.
You couldn't hear me anyway,
You are as deaf as I am dumb.
Only emptiness remains.
At least it replaces all the pain.

Parrish, I really like this one. Just few lines but they are full of feelings. I got the feeling that you are about to burst. And that your feelings are so strong that they choke you. So you prefer emptiness instead of pain? I`m not sure which one I would choose. Pain at least makes me feel I`m alive.

Depends on the moment. Usually I'd agree with you that at least the pain lets you know you are alive. But sometimes the pain can be overwhelming.

Short, but so full of emotion. Sometimes you don't have to say much to get what you're feeling out.

<sigh> Yes Warx, I am. But it's nothing I won't survive. Sometimes I fall into depressions for no reason at all. Just yesterday, when I wrote that, I'd had the bad luck of not being able to talk to anybody that I normally would have talked to.
Plus I'm fairly sure one person was avoiding me, and that hurt.
So I, as usual, wrote about it.
And thank you PT. As great a writer as you are, any praise from you is valued highly. :)

Yes, you are right. We have our limits and everyone`s bowl has a rim.
