View Full Version : Summary: Stealing a tatu poster :P
Place: a common mall called Plaza Universidad in Mexico City
Date: 8/8 2003 8:00 pm (funny everything with #8)
Agents involved: =top secret=
Summary:
We went to a store (a sanborns for mexicans) like we were attracted by a mystical force we saw a tatu poster at the entrance....we looked at it amazed...a friend asked if it was loose....and I moved closer...afraid to break the magic and yes it was loose...While all my friends were planning how to take it and scape I took it immediately and run inside the mall...my friends took some seconds to check that the poster was not there anymore and that I was running :P
We celebrated :D and keep running until the next exit :D it was funny, it felt like a fan version of Not gonna get us running through the mall with the poster...heheheh finally I rolled it and stick it with a wrist band I have then we went to the movies (cause we have tickets to see Tomb Raider 2)
Now the poster it's in my room =D in one of my walls, and it looks damn good...gonna post pics of it later
but now the pic of the celebration :D

Wow its that easy there...
Kind of makes me wish I had nutted that plexiglass and "borrowed" that big ass concert poster from the subway...while no doubt running from people in hot pursuit trying to stop me for vandalism... :rolleyes:

My kleptomania is so indiscriminate. My last theft - whilst in Madrid - was a book about the history of sound recording in early 20th Century Spanish cinema. Fascinating, I'm sure... :o

That was hilarious, karxwp! I'm so depressed now though, 'cause nothing like that ever happens to me! :/ My friends don't even like Tatu :( Heh.
I do have two friends who steal make-up and clothes though.. I'm currently on their waiting list too :P So just PM if you ever need something stolen ^_^

Hmmm, I've never seen one around here. :hmmm: It would be great just to see one t.A.T.u. poster, or one magazine witht them on the front, but I haven't. :( I really like to see them get as much exposure as possible. I went to the Sam Goody music store at the Mall of America in Minnesota, and they had about 10 copies of 200 KM/h, and in plain sight as well. That was the most I had ever seen in one store. It made me feel good to see that. Where I bought it at, here in Ann Arbor, there were only 2 copies (1 after I left), and they were hidden behind other stuff. Oh well...
Since we're sharing poster-nabbing stories, I stole a poster of Bad Boys Inc. from my friend Kirsty when I was 11. She retaliated by nicking off with my framed picture of Mark Owen.
That's my shady 'boy-band fan' past coming back to haunt me! :laugh:

talking about taking stuff.....well i took some promos, they were free. they had tatu's picture on the fliers but its promoting this club which i always find odd :bum:. i took a few but im going back to get a batch of them! lol. its not stealing, its taking what is free! i'll add the pictures later on lol.

I got caught stealing a porno mag[not for me] when i was 13 and another time i got busted stealing a 10 cent candy. So yeah, im a lousy stealer.
and people it was not easy...imagine five tatu fans looking at the poster...I was only faster....because everyone was planning how to steal it when I already had it and went running into the mall :P another thing cops saw us...and looked at us suspiciously so we had to walk to the farthest entrance (the one of the movies) and then we went to see our lovely Lara Croft II (which I was dying to see since I'm Lara's #1 fan) so it was quite and adventure...but it was worthy since it's very hard to find tatu stuff (like posters) here in Mexico.

And why the cops stared at us??? (yes I was involved in this crimer :D) why uh?? because you my friend started to celebrate IN FRONT OF the main entrance!!! XD Of course the cops stared at us!! we had to keep running!! and well... five girls running around the mall with a suspicious enormous piece of paper... that is suspicious indeed :done:
The best part was the movie! yeah!!! :D (whispers: that is because karliux let me hug her all the movie!!) :coctail:
